Not going to buy it, but I will say this:
At least the Queen served her country during a war. She did not have to do that, and I have always admired her for that choice.

I read a funny letter in a British paper today, the writer reminded us that when Madonna came to the UK she wanted to become more “English”. She now has three kids with three different fathers one of whom is African.
Job done then.

I heard a slightly different version, the definition of style was;
Wear Italian
Drive German
Eat French
Speak English
You can work out your own definition of what is not stylish.

No. They smoke each other.

Thanks for the interlude! It was just what we need whilst we wait for the most dreadful day for 0bama’s inauguration. We will not favour this guttersnipe by watching the tele on that day. No, our behaviour will comport with the more favourable thing like reading Pride and Prejudice and studying the most effecient use of proper British manners as well as speaking so that we may become proper ladies and gentlemen. I realise that this may be difficult for some as we will be oddly curious to see what manner of dress that woman who shall shortly be known as First Lady ( thank goodness she will not bear the title of Queen as how insulting that would be to HRH Queen Lilibet). We may wish to recall on the night of the victory for 0bama, he and his family came out on stage wearing black and red..and she looked like a black widow spider though some other clever poster gave a more apt description as a blood clot.
But I digress, yes we shall do what is proper and learn to speak properly, hold our tea cups properly and dine on crumpets and 4 pm sharp!

No thanks, at least here in the USA we’re still armed, and becoming more so, and can defend ourselves against criminals and tyrants. We still have areas of retreat. We’re still behind the UK curve regarding political correctness, though not far and catching up. We don’t have sharia law yet. Why rush to meet the end of freedom when you can fight against it?

p.s. Diana had what could politely be called issues. Diana was high maintenance.
How twue, how twue, but Charlie is a weakling, a twit, and pathetically needy.

(You should look up revocation in the Oxford English Dictionary.) You should look up "kiss my ass" in the Declaration of Independence.

Holy sh!t! you just described Michigan! Why they insist on replacing intersections with “roundabouts” is beyond me. Some sort of punishment I think.

Does this mean that I will have to speak with a fake British accent Having visited London on numerous occasions, it is hard not to do so after a few days and/or a few beers.
