That may sound harsh, but this whole thing made me look at who I have allowed into my life, and desire to change that.

You and me both. At least you don't have family members still trying to "sell" you on Obama.

I don't think I'll bother to visit my family again until he is safely out of office, and if any of them call me to complain about him I'm just going to say "why are you complaining to me, you voted for the (blankety-blank)" and hang up the phone.

I know it's not Christian of me to say this, but there is a part of me that really doesn't care if I ever see them again. My opinion does not matter, but only serves as a venue for them to mock me and my beliefs. As far as I see it, the guy is bad news and they voted for evil with a capital E. My faith in Jesus is separating us, as He predicted.

We need to start educating as many people as we can or we’re doomed to be governed by a nation of emotional and intellectual infants.

I wouldn't waste my breath. Let them think government will fulfill all their needs and wants. WE should spend our energy and what's left of our money to batten down the hatches and take care of our own.
