d) Equal Rights Advocates and California Women's Law Center - These (fellow) wimmins libbers argue that, if the process that brought us Prop 8 is legitimized, women stand a distinct chance of being harmed by whatever rights some unholy alliance of self-loathing chicks and unattractive men want take away from women as a group. They point out that the 1879 California State Constitution prohibited Chinese people from voting.

e) Asian Pacific American Legal Center, et al. - This petition was filed by a group of organizations dedicated to the protection of the rights of minorities - including the NAACP. As with the womens' groups, these folks see the danger to racial and ethnic minorities that could ensue if we make civil rights into a popularity contest.

f) California Council of Churches - Plaintiffs in this case are a group of churches, pastors and other religious folks who recognize that, "If the Court permits Proposition 8 to take effect, religious discrimination similarly could be written into California's Constitution." (Download california_council_of_churches_petition.pdf.) They also have this awesome guide on religion and gay marriage.

When feminazis, aggrieved minorities and the Religious Left all file suits, you know its funny. They just can't get it around their heads that Prop. 8 might be you know - a perfect normal statement of human nature. If you ask what's wrong with that - you'll get a lot of blank stares before the name-calling begins. Ain't that just grand!

SODOMY IS NOT A CIVIL RIGHT !!!

Until recently it was crime and according to God it still is. It is a fool who thinks that man's law can have jurisdiction over and against God's.

In Lawrence v Texas was about the “crime” of sodomy, and I’m inclined to agree with the court that sodomy is not, and should not be, a crime.

It’s immoral, and against god’s law and all that. However, that issue is between one man and his maker, not one man and the state.

This business about gay marriage is a completely different circumstance. They are asking for state sanction of sodomy, and that is just plain wrong. Marriage is about children, bloodlines, and lastly property.

Homosexuals don’t reproduce, they recruit.

And a capital crime at that - which tells you how very dangerous it is to a nation.

I can’t wait until the Society for Legalization of Polygamy and Polyamory files its brief.
