Bill O'Reilly hates us and the feeling is mutual
SFGate: City Insider ^ | 11/19/8 | Heather Knight

Posted on 11/19/2008 12:36:35 PM PST by SmithL

San Franciscans famously fought back against Bill O'Reilly - the conservative Fox news anchor who really, really hates our city - when he said back in 2005 that the U.S. military shouldn't defend San Francisco in case of a terrorist attack. "You want to blow up the Coit Tower? Go ahead," he said.

Everybody from House Speaker Nancy Pelosi to Supervisor Chris Daly railed at O'Reilly, calling his comments outrageous.

Not content to leave well enough alone, O'Reilly has now sent an underling to the city to make a documentary to show where, supposedly, the politics of President-elect Barack Obama will take the country.

"The far left is emboldened now that Barack Obama has been elected president, and nowhere is the radical left government more on display than in the city of San Francisco," O'Reilly said in introducing the segment.

The minutes-long documentary goes on to show homeless people lounging in the parks, pot smokers, a transgendered prostitute, strippers -- and, well, that's about it. Jesse Watters, the producer, told O'Reilly he felt like he was in one big Grateful Dead concert filled with "vagabonds, street kids, runaways, your sixties hippie retreads."

This, the city that makes every effort to kick out the military and then says it is outrageous that others think the military should refuse to defend the city if it were to come under attack?

Just a logic extension of their position.

Wouldn’t have been able to get it in film if it wasn’t true.
There are two San Fran’s one is extremely liberal, gay loving, pot smoking, prostituting side, and the quieter family oriented side, it’s just that the liberal freal show side is much more flambouyant and make the city seem like everyone there is like that, of course not true. Bill says that teh politics of the city will be Obama’s sanctuary city and all.

Right off the bat, does this article anywhere acknowledge that O’Reilly referred to San Fran needing the military to protect against terror attacks BECAUSE San Fran was hostile to military recruitment centers?

Further, I have been hearing for many years that San Fran is largely homeless streetperson USA because they have created that atmosphere for themselves.

San Francisco to Boot JROTC Programs

SAN FRANCISCO — High schools across the city soon will no longer have Junior Reserve Officers'Training Corps programs after officials decided to eliminate them because of the Pentagon's"don't ask, don't tell"policy regarding gay service members.

The Board of Education voted 4-2 late Tuesday to phase out the JROTC from schools over the next two years, despite protest from hundreds of students who rallied outside the meeting.

The resolution passed says the military's ban on openly gay soldiers violates the school district's equal rights policy for gays.

The school district and the military currently share the $1.6 million annual cost of the program. About 1,600 San Francisco students participate in JROTC at seven high schools across the district.

Cadets and instructors who spoke at the meeting and rallied outside argued that the program teaches leadership, organizational skills, personal responsibility and other important values.

"This is where the kids feel safe, the one place they feel safe,"said Robert Powell, a JROTC instructor."You're going to take that away from them?"

Mayor Gavin Newsom called severing ties with the JROTC"a bad idea"that penalized students without having any practical effect on the Pentagon's policy on gays in the military.

"If people want to participate in it and their families want them to participate, I think they have a right to participate without putting them in the political peril of being in this ideological debate,"he said.

Lt. Cmdr. Joe Carpenter, a Pentagon spokesman, has said he didn't know of any other school district having barred JROTC from its campuses.

The last time San Francisco had a conservative mayor was back in the early ‘60’s. The last time they had even ONE conservative on the city coucil was back in the ‘70’s. Now, the spethal interests basically run the City. (that wasn’t a typo)

San Francisco is a beautiful city that, unfortunately, is infested with every possible type of human debris you can think of.

While I wouldn’t mind seeing these bottom feeders dropped into a bottomless pit somewhere, I wouldn’t want the city and its few remaining normal people to suffer.

"got to be kidding"

Recently I attended some affair at my liberal sister's house, and practically everyone there was a liberal except for my wife and me. After a while the conversation got around to of all people, O'Reilly. My family and in-laws went on and on how they couldn't stand O'Reilly. I asked them why, because Bill is not really much of a conservative. You know why they hate Bill and consider him an arch-conservative? Because he's not a liberal. That's how they define conservatives. Not being an out and out lib.

San Fransicko

“If you’ve been in the Bay Area or even on the West Coast lately, you’ve probably heard something about the Jack Davis party, the most famous liquor-bottle-in-the-wrong-orifice scandal to hit San Francisco since Fatty Arbuckle. We didn’t hear much about it in New York, because in New York, you can see people bleeding and urinating on each other for fun on practically every street corner, so people are accustomed to these things and it’s not such a big deal.

In a nutshell, for those of you from points elsewhere, this Jack Davis guy, an openly gay and notoriously ‘outrageous’ political consultant who is generally believed to have gotten the last two S.F. mayors elected and whose current client is the 49ers, who are trying to get the voters to approve a bond initiative to finance their new stadium, had his friends throw him a 50th birthday party that was attended by a slurry of big polyurethane-headed politicos in smart little suits and ties.

The party, replete with multi-sexual go-go sluts and a glory hole wall, climaxed with a guy named Steve Leyba getting a pentagram carved on his back and being pissed on and sodomized with a bottle of Jack Daniel’s by my old friend, vampire/lesbian/dominatrix/Satanist/junkie/poet/performance-artist Danielle Willis.

“When San Fran lobbyist Jack Davis celebrated his 50th birthday on May 3rd of this year, Willie Brown was there...About 300 people attended the party. Guests included Mayor Brown, Supervisors Barbara Kaufman, Susan Leal and Leland Yee, Sheriff Mike Hennessey, District Attorney Terence Hallinan, City Attorney Louise Renne, 49ers President Carmen Policy and his wife, former Supervisor Annemarie Conroy and Assemblywoman Carole Migden.

Well Bill maybe good at what he does, but I could still take him on and win with a debate involving the Bible.

I listened to his radio-talk show a few years back and he was trying to convince a caller about a moral topic and could not even quote the Bible to defend his principles.

That is what is different between a catholic and a christian.

San Francisco to Boot JROTC Programs

that was done by a few Green Party ideologues on the school board who were trying to make a name for themselves so they could run for the Board of Supervisors and wasn't generally supported by the populace.
The voters just passed a resolution urging the new school board to reinstate it and most said they would abide by the results. It was non-binding however so they are free to ignore it.

Oh, for cryin' out loud. Everyone living in and around San Francisco can identify with what Bill O'Reilly has asserted. Just because San Francisco is struggling to hide its own dirty laundry created by its own liberals is no reason to slam at Bill O'Reilly. Sure, there are a million and 1 good things about SF -- the food, museums, thought control, over generous welfare, crime, nudity, insanity, drug-crazed gangs and people who step on your dead body after they've mugged ya.

What part did Bill O'Reilly not cover? The endless pro-Liberal sloganeering of photos of the Golden Gate Bridge by travel agencies on all types of media and advertising?

I love my old City; but truly I tell people -- go visit: But living there is an entirely other STORY and you WON'T be supported nor defended by the power structure if you attempt to defend your own life, your loved ones' lives, coworkers lives, or your children innocence there.

San Francisco is an adult's playground: It's not safe for children and other living beings.

And if you are a business, you are going to die unless you are in on the liberal power structure which dictates a weird mad cult religion as the focus of their LAWs.

Other than that, the article authoress' whine was fairly plaintive.
