Anti-abortion forces are hotting up for a fight. The new president has been given a 0% score by the National Right to Life Committee, which indicates that as far as they are concerned Obama is unambiguously............

Saw a big demonstration on TV of hundreds of cross-bearing
people in front of an abortion clinic in my city the other day. Haven’t seen that in a while.
More power to them. Glad to see it.

Keep in mind most of this country already accepts abortion, including 52% of Catholics and a large number of conservative Christians proven by the election of Obama.

The anti abortion cause is lost; the next item on the agenda is euthanasia.

What happened in 94?

By then a good part of the first generation of "likely aborters" had themselves been aborted. This only explains the decrease, not necessarily the abruptness of it, so there's probably more to the story.

Standard disclaimers apply.

A majority of the American electorate knew full well that The Obamunist supported the slaughter of innocents, and in fact had the distinction of being the most pro-slaughter member of the US Senate.

To those who voted for The Obamunist, slaughtering babies is not big deal, nor will the slaughter of conservatives when The Obamunist’s storm troopers go on their state-sanctioned rampages.

Prepare for the fight, my friends, because it is coming.

My so called Catholic family, upon hearing my claims of the One’s infanticide voting, used the deaths caused in the Iraq war as their rationale for voting against McCain. After all they said, he is a war monger!

Guennie, I just wanted to say that anyone can repent at any time. I don't want to discount the possibility of the Holy Spirit working in a person's heart and the ability of sanctification. I do not think that a person would remain supporting abortion for very long after becoming a Christian. So, even if a person has wrong beliefs they can still come to Christ. The Holy Spirit and Bible Study will change their wrong belief. My bottom line: no Christian would vote for Obama, a baby-killer.

Satan is the prince of lies. You might wish to pray for them just as I pray for some in my own family. No Christian or denomination is immune. The heresy of "secular humanism" has infiltrated every Christian faith...sadly.

Regarding barbaric abortion, I'm actually glad that Obama got elected president for the following reason. Given that the federal Constitution says nothing about abortion, the 10th A. automatically makes abortion a state-power issue.
10th Amendment: The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.
And to the best of my knowledge, the Roe v. Wade opinion shows that corrupt majority justices scandalously ignored 10th A. protected state powers when they decided Roe v. Wade (corrections welcome).

In fact, consider that while state powers were wrongly ignored in Roe v. Wade, the USSC somehow "remembered" state powers when it decided not to interfere in the Terri Schiavo case. So the corrupt USSC is practicing double-standards, in my opinion, as evidenced by its inconsistent recognition of state powers.

Getting back to Obama and abortion, given that the Constitution doesn't expressly delegate power to the feds to regulate abortion, Obama based his campaign rhetoric concerning abortion, and other campaign "promises" as well, on nonexistent federal government powers. So the reason that I'm glad that Obama is president-elect is because people are ultimately going to have to reconnect with the Constitution and its history in order to protect themselves from constitutionally clueless Obama's misguided pen.

Wrong. On both points.

The majority of the country is opposed to abortion. 52% of inidividuals who identified themselves as Catholics voted for Obama. Catholics true to their faith, did not. Keep in mind John Vietnam Kerry is "Catholic."

And the pro-life cause isn't lost, as you claim. The pro-life movement has gained momentum over the last 10 years. The movement's soldiers are young; the opposition's are old, and dying out.

Come to a rally in DC to see for yourself. Buses and buses of young adults and students march, and are opposed by small islands of burnt-out bitter women in their 60's.
