This is probably one reason why, as The Arizona Republic reported Monday, the FBI has stepped up scrutiny of Shahin and other Muslim leaders in Phoenix.
Omar Shahin has been in the news before. He is the spokesman for a group of six imams who sued US Airways after being removed from a flight in 2006 when passengers and crewmembers reported that they were behaving suspiciously. The imams were handcuffed and later interrogated, then released with no charges, whereupon Shahin led a news conference to condemn prejudice against Muslims. All six imams later sued the

There really is something worse than perverse when someone comes to this country for it’s benefits then wants to ignore their responsibilities.

And so we disregard their humans rights. Fair trade I think. It may not be much longer, but for the mean time, it’s still our country.
Every day people disregard our laws, probably number one on the list is speeding while driving. So if these guys want to disregard our laws, great. The more that do and get arrested, the more we have off the streets.
Isn’t it about time homeland security started rounding up these people? I think that all mosques should have a federal monitor for security. Hell, we put marshals on our planes, why not put someone in those mosques to make sure no subversives are plotting the overthrow of our government. I mean, if you had a group of people whose stated objective is the domination of the world with their law and “religion” I would make damn sure I knew what they were saying and thinking in those “meeting places”. Better yet, just declare Islam a hostile nation and kick them the hell out of the country.
If muslims can not or will not adapt to American laws & our justice system they shouldn’t be here. They can all leave asap & never come back.
Well, we are behind compared to the UK and Europe, even Canada, in terms of getting Sharia noticed, enacted. I didn’t figure Phoenix, for some reason.
Muslims are seriously overplaying the use of the word “stereotyping”. And this can backfire on them, because most of what they call “stereotyping” is part of their religion.
The way to catch them on this is to demand they obey US law no matter what Sharia law says. They will object to obeying US law, so then you can say, “By your own words, it is not stereotypical that Muslims disobey US laws. Therefore it is the truth, and all Muslims can and should be punished for doing this, because they are not victims, but criminals for violating US laws or elevating Sharia above US laws.”
