Hillary and Bill Clinton drama begins to tarnish Barack Obama's takeover

Barack Obama sought to stamp out signs of discord yesterday as his team blamed Bill and Hillary Clinton for tarnishing the presidential transition with the type of psychological drama and leaks that marked their years in the White House.
As the uncertainty over whether Mrs Clinton would accept the job of Secretary of State dragged on, aides from both camps were engaged in anonymous briefings that echoed the bitter exchanges of their marathon primary battle earlier this year.
After the Obama camp let it be known that one potential stumbling block for the former First Lady was her husband’s overseas financial ties and list of foreign donors to his presidential library, Mr Clinton said he had agreed to all the conditions that had been sought by the transition team - including handing over a list of more than 200,000 benefactors. “I’ll do whatever they want,” he said.
Some in the Obama team saw that as a manoeuvre to box in the President-elect by forcing him formally to offer Mrs Clinton the post. Mr Obama is said to have known exactly what he was getting into when he discussed the job with Mrs Clinton during a meeting in Chicago last week, and is confident enough in himself to make such a bold gesture to his former rival. A Gallup poll showed that 57 per cent of Americans favoured the move.

Why would Obambi care except to get more money?
I do think we are in for a bit of entertainment from the Clintons during the Obama administration. They cannot be happy campers having had the election stolen from them in the fashion it was by the Chicago machine. They also are not the type to forgive and forget and methinks they have some things in store to mete out their own form of ‘justice’...

I think Obama and Bill Clinton, and maybe Hillary, may have been backed by the same group of people, probably with strong foreign Muslim interests. We have always suspected Obama loyalties to the Muslim world and campaign staffers met with Hamas. I don’t ever remember Bill doing anything contrary to Muslims, even in isolated East Timor. I always thought we may have been on the wrong side in Serbia. Overwhelming UN and MSM influence made Molosevic out to be a monster. But was he really? The most Bill Clinton did was lob a couple of cruise missles into an abandoned terrorist training camp in Afghanistan. And he is apparently doing very well with his ties in Dubai. Bill may have been chasing more than the Nobel Peace Prize for the Palestinian/ Isreali standoff.
Did Muslim interests get involved with oil speculation to throw the election? Now Obama is bringing a very large number of Clinton era retreads into his administration.
I have no inside knowledge or connections, but the Muslim world connection fits together in my mind. I wish some of the better connected insiders that visit this site would pursue investigating this theory.

Ah-ha! You hit the nail on the head. Imagine the lowly manager being elevated to CEO of the biggest corporation in an instant. The big O can cannot vote "present" anymore. He has to make decisions - big ones - every day. I predict that he will crumple, vasilate and stall. Despite the Clinton high grade advisors at his disposal, he will have to choose yes or no on many issues, with powerful subordinates pushing and pulling on both sides of the issues.
I see the advisors and cabinet members clamoring over each other to sway the "weak king". He is bound to fail.
I figured he was being forced to make these appointments.
