To be fair...conservatives do this too. Reagan has a zillon things named after him...the bush father is getting a carrier...Barak Obama does not have a carrier named after him. In fact mostly Republicans get them. The only carrier that was democratic was JFK who today would be a Republican anyway or at least to be fair democrats back in JFK time were not looney like today. I think Truman may have been a Democrat but could have been a Republican but either way he has a carrier too.

Fair...that liberal term. No offense intended. First off, Obama has done NOTHING for (TO) this country (yet). He is not even president yet. Still they are naming things after (for) him??? That is a BIG difference. The others have had things named AFTER their actions/contributions/deeds etc.

I agree with your post. I am just sick because we could have President Romney right now and at least our economy would be in better hands. Romney would not have been a mamby pamby like McCain was. I know off subject but I was at another thread and I guess I am still pissed...lol.
If it makes any of you feel better, in 2002 the folks in my home town of Nampa, Idaho built Ronald Reagan Elementary School.

All that I can say is that Obama had better pray that Georgetown University doesn’t name so much as a toilet seat after him. For a long stretch, every time they named some building after one of the long-serving Jesuits, the poor guy died within a year or two.
That said, I simply cannot see a Jesuit-run institution naming anything EXCEPT a crapper after a guy who voted to allow infanticide.

Hempstead is one the 3 or 4 worst, and THE worst run school district on Long Island.
At least 2 school board members have gone to jail in the past few years and they seem to go through 2 or 3 superindendents per year.
There was a huge racially motivated (Black vs. Latino)brawl a few weeks ago at the High School, involving about 100 students.
I wonder how much this name change will cost the taxpayers? I also wonder why the left the President Elect’s middle name out the school’s new name.

Then I read in the Drudgereport this morning that they are planning for 4 million people in D.C. for the coronation. This will be like Elizabeth Taylor’s grand entrance into Caesar’s Rome in the 1963 movie Cleopatra.
Schools, parks, streets, and even towns will be named after the Deity-elect. Yes, the leftstream media is still drooling over His Majesty. Time Magazine has on its cover a comparison of BHO to FDR. And, not be outdone, Newsweek compares the Deity-elect to Lincoln.
My God, Joseph Goebbels would be green with with envy the way the leftstream media glorifies BHO. This is going to be a long four years. BHO 24/7 even on the entertainment and sports channels. It will be insufferable. Is there any way we could prove he was born in Kenya before the coronation takes place? Not that Obama is any kind of Hitler, but shouldn’t you wait to see what he actually accomplishes before you honor the man? I mean, the man hasn’t DONE anything. Yes he’s been awarded a lot of TITLES, but he has virtually zero accomplishments.
