Rochester officials say members of Saudi Arabia's royal family spent enough during a visit to the Mayo Clinic to give the area's economy a shot in the arm.
City officials say Saudi Arabian King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz arrived in the Minnesota city on Nov. 15 for a checkup at the Mayo Clinic and was accompanied by at least five princes and hundreds of others.

My neighbor was down at Mayo earlier this week, and she said the entourage took up 2 floors of the Kaehler Hotel; Two jumbo jets and 5 Mercedes amongst other luggage and lots and lots of money that they are throwing around all over Rochester.
Hope they're doing OK.

They actually have bought a hotel there- small, but they do own it, and they also had 2 floors of one of the hospitals remodeled specifically for them- it all came out of their pocket. Its not uncommon for many Arabs from all over the world to come to Mayo.

Many remember the rumors rampant that they used to have on permanentrental various floors of various hotels, or maybe it was just one...and they all left and cancelled all these standing reservations the day before 911...at least that was what everuone bewlieved in Minnesota.
I used to see them walking down the street (not hard to recognize a Sausi because of their clothing) and I never saw any after 911. If they are back, are Ameraca’s chickens coming home to roost?
