Polish President Lech Kaczynski arrived to Georgia to celebrate 5th anniversary of Georgia's Rose Revolution. When Polish president car was approaching Russian check point nearby brorder with Osetia presidential convoy got shot up. Shooting was directed from the side of Russian check point - presidential minister Michal Kaminski said. President Kaczynski wanted to visit refuge camp of Georgians who were forced to leave Osetia occupied by Russian Army. After the incident convoy was forced to return to Tbilisi.
Obama hopes both sides will show constraint.
Big deal... in Atlanta people would shoot at him too.
Let the fun times begin.
Some celebrated Obama, and they will eventually learn what weak US security leadership really means. You better believe that in the long run, even if many will smile and shake hands with the American clown, behind the scene they will become bolder and more aggressive. There is a facade, and then there is a reality behind the facade, and behind the scene, in the macro and long term, when talking strategically, our enemies are emboldened with Obama.
Øbama urged restraint from both party’s.
Yeah but they would of missed the car and hit a shopping cart lady a half a mile away.
Thank you AliVeritas for the ping.

I send greetings to those celebrating the fifth anniversary of the Rose Revolution.
One of the most inspiring chapters in the history of freedom was written by the Georgian people during the Rose Revolution. Thirsting for liberty and armed only with roses in hand, citizens throughout Georgia peacefully staked claim to their God-given right of liberty. These demonstrations proved once again, that when given a choice, people choose to live in freedom.
On this anniversary, Americans honor the brave Georgian citizens who defended freedom, and we renew our commitment to supporting Georgia’s democracy, independence, sovereignty, and territorial integrity. We also look forward to the day when the light of liberty shines on all people throughout the world.
Laura and I send our best wishes. May the God who gave us liberty bless those who are advancing freedom’s cause.
GEORGE W. BUSH

Russians are bloody savages.
Just like the Russkies shot down Sikorski’s plane during WWII.
WOW, thanks for the ping. You’d think this would have warranted a mention on the news.
this is not good. the russians better get back under control.
On the way back from church, I heard on one of the Christian news channels a blip about this...Thank God we still have FreeRepublic.com to read/hear what is happening in the news.
However, I think our enemies and wannabe enemies are feeling their oats as The Big Zero, Inc. & Associates come into power.
Well, since I just left Moscow this afternoon, I’m glad no one took your advice today:-)
