That’s a really great question! I’ve never thought of that before - it would be interesting to actually have a figure. Me, I’d place it probably around four or five percent, but that’s a total guess.

I’ve found that a lot of teenage girls and young adult women are what I call “Internet lebians”. They call themselves lesbian or bisexual but have never had any lesbian experiences and don’t seem to be in any rush to try. I think they say it because it makes them feel special.

One of the most twisted that I’ve encountered was an internet lesbian muslim.

This story again brings us back to our old nemesis...the media.

The media loves gays. Why? Well, they're controversial, and they get conservatives upset.

It would not matter if the gay population were 1/2 of 1%...they would still be media darlings and would still suck up [if you'll excuse the metaphor] all the attention from the press.

Taking this back to its simplest form, it's like when you told you Mom you wanted those new sneakers, because "everybody has them", when in reality maybe only 3 or 4 of the kids (the popular/rich kids) actually had a pair.

It seems that gays are everywhere because they have become the media's best friends; they're on game shows, sitcoms, and all over the news.

So, I'm not buying the 10% figure, unless you go to Little Five Points in Atlanta. They are concentrated in certain areas across the country...usually in the same areas where the MSM is concentrated...and they are - by and large - attention whores.

A pro-homosexual psychiatrist friend admitted to me that many "bisexuals" do it because it's "cool" these days. Many of them do have experience, and it's very well documented that women tend to try initial sexual experiences more out of curiosity than drive (unlike men), so it's easy for many of these girls to get curious and try.

In fact, this is very prevalent on college campuses, and actuve recruitment by lesbian activists often focuses on "curiosity" to get women to try it.

Note the date of this study:

That was 1988. I guarantee the number is much higher now.

I'm a 1983 graduate and believe I was among the first targets of the attempted mass conversions to homosexuality.

They told us that all normal boys have homosexual thoughts. It's pretty obvious to me now. Take a 12 or 13 year old child and tell them that they're only normal if they have homosexual feelings. It's a pretty vulnerable age for a kid who only wants to be normal.

Fortunately I grew up in a conservative rural community and had already pretty firmly formed my own thoughts and opinions. When I was told that I needed to have homosexual feelings to be normal I decided that I didn't want to be normal if homosexuality was required.

That's why some people can't believe the 2% number--since it's an overall number and is lower in other places. Also, in those other places, homosexuals are less likely to be "out" about it.

Two percent of a population is nothing to sneeze at. Jane Sheehan's queer nation chant of "We're here; we're queer; get used to it!" seems to be the current situation. Many high-schoolers have no idea that even a generation ago, homosexuality wasn't viewed as something people were generally open about. They have no clue that it wasn't until 1973 that strong-arm tactics rewrote medical practice. Today's youth see homosexuality as perfectly acceptable and all around them. And yes, in the attention-seeking culture of today, many gravitate toward it.

So, if conservatives recognized that "the media" are the problem, along with public schools, why don't they get out and do something about it? I have substitute taught in public schools and I have run two newspapers...yes, I've thrown my life away for the cause :-), but if every conservative did only a fraction, think of how we could raise an educated, knowledgeable, thinking, and informed generation!
