Medford police arrested Leonardo Guillen-Yanel in a kidnapping and rape case that happened on the 400 block of Union Avenue Friday.
Police say Guillen-Yanel grabbed his victim and threw her into the green Dodge Van he was driving, telling her he was an immigration officer. They say he then took her to a construction area near South Medford High School, where he sexually assaulted her.
According to police, after the assault, Guillen-Yanel was driving his 18-year-old, female victim near 10th and Front Street, when she jumped out of the van at a traffic stop and ran for her life.
Police say the information the victim gave them, along with the evidence collected in the van, led them to Guillen-Yanel's residence on J Street in Medford.
Guillen-Yanel is being held at Jackson County Jail on $3 million bond. He's being charged with kidnapping, rape and sodomy.
"Medford Man'....hardly! What the reports don't tell you is that he is an ILLEGAL ALIEN! Just another one 'hiding in the shadows'.....

Word to the wise: "Immigration Officers" (ICE, CBP, BP) don't drive around in green Dodge Vans.
They're white Dodge vans, or Green Ford vans. The rest of the story sounds about right, but we don't call it sexual assault, it's "harsh interrogation".

I hate articles like this because they only give city names (and sometimes not even that...). Then I wonder, “Is this the place I think it is?”
I thought it might be in Oregon, but I had to hunt around to find out that it actually is in Oregon. If you were in Oregon and said “Medford” there wouldn’t be any question. If you’re on a national board and say “Medford”, then it’s a question... LOL..
Sorry about that. I included the county, but not the state.
You said — “Sorry about that. I included the county, but not the state.”
Yeah, I actually see this sort of thing in quite a few reports. Where it happens *mostly* is with TV or radio sites — with news on them. Those websites absolutely never give the locations... LOL...
If the station is in the city in question (in regards to the news event), they’ll give a location but not the city. It’s like the station assumes that if you know who “KZXX” is, then you know what city it is, too... :-)
So, it’s those kinds of articles that I can never find out where it’s at... :-)
This is common. Almost every sex crime case in the paper usually has an illegal alien.
