(WHAS11) - Until recent years, Kentucky wasnt a major destination for illegal immigrants. Those who came here were mostly migrant workers or employees in the equestrian industry.
But a new wave of illegal immigrants has been arriving in recent years, and law enforcement agencies say many of these undocumented citizens are bringing with them drugs, gangs and violent crime.
Illegal immigrants arrive in Kentuckiana daily.
While most are here for a better life, police say others have direct ties to deadly gangs and even the Mexican mafia. Shelbyville looks like most small towns in Middle America.
A quaint downtown, a thriving farm community, and in general a good quality of life.
Hundreds of newcomers flock here each year, many from Mexico just like Juan Rodriguez.
Juan Rodriguez said, I crossed the desert. I didnt drink water for many days. I was lost. I was by myself.
Rodriguez and his wife, who he met in Kentucky, came for one thing.
Rodriguez said, We came here because we want to be better. Have a better life.
Shane Suttor is a Shelbyville city councilman. Sutter says a growing number of illegal aliens arent here to share in the quality of life, but to threaten it.
Suttor said, Being a farm community, obviously, thats what originally brought them here, working on the farms, working tobacco. But now, its transcended more into the criminal element.

What the hell is that?
Ping - There’s another “Holly” in town.
Shelbyville?
Perhaps Springfield can come to their aid. They ARE right next door to eachother you know.
Shelbyville? I thought that place only existed as the neighboring town to Springfield in the Simpsons.
Welcome to the new culture. If it isn’t already part of your neighborhood, it soon will be.
There are certain parts of KY that I wouldn’t advise these “undocumented citizens” to go into. LOL
If they don’t do anything about it, and want to see what their town can turn into..........go to Los Angeles.
The ‘law industry’ needs to do what it is supposed to do. That is, obey the existing laws and enforce said laws. Period.

Why are we putting up with this kind of stuff in our nation?
Let 3rd world illegals enter your town in droves unabated and then wonder in amazement how it all happened when your town starts taking on the characteristics of a 3rd world craphole. Amazing.
Good! This stuff makes me happy.
It’s not too late to save America, if Americans would wake up, and care. So I say let the transformation of America to a third world hellhole accelerate.
This will either save or kill America. Either way, it’s preferable to seeing this once proud nation hobbled and made a parody of itself by the liberals.

1) Apply for citizenship.
2) Learn to speak English as your FIRST language.
3) Work and pay taxes to OUR government.
4) Think of yourself as an American rather than an Hispanic-American, or a “minority”.
5) Vote conservative. If you a productive, law-abiding individual it is the ONLY choice. If you are neither, go home.
Yep, illegals and criminal just looking for a better life in Kentucky:

I did not know about the Simpsons connection. My knee jerk reaction was it sounds like a Twilight Zone town. I'm serious.
“There are certain parts of KY that I wouldnt advise these undocumented citizens to go into.”
You got that right. There are also lots of hills and valleys to lose people.
Simple solution....ARREST THEM!!!!!!!!!!
