A radio interview with Kenyan Ambassador Peter N.R.O. Ogego has been widely publicized since the ambassador called President-elect Barack Obama's Kenyan birthplace a "well-known" attraction but the embassy is now telling WND the hosts misunderstood his comments.
On Nov. 6, only two days after the election, Detroit radio talk-show hosts Mike Clark and Marc Fellhauer on WRIF's "Mike In The Morning" claimed to be "calling Kenya" but actually called the Embassy of Kenya in Washington, D.C., to speak with Ambassador Ogego.
The radio hosts were surprised when their light-hearted interview with Ogego reignited suspicions that Obama may have been born in Kenya.

Clark: "We want to congratulate you on Barack Obama, our new president, and you must be very proud."
Ogego: "We are. We are. We are also proud of the U.S. for having made history as well."
Fellhauer: "One more quick question, President-elect Obama's birthplace over in Kenya, is that going to be a national spot to go visit, where he was born?"
Ogego: "It's already an attraction. His paternal grandmother is still alive."
Fellhauer: "His birthplace, they'll put up a marker there?"
Ogego: "It would depend on the government. It's already well known."

The only resolution to this issue is for Obama to release his documents. No matter what your political beliefs and affiliations, it is to your advantage to want Obama to release the documents and put the issue to rest. Support our Constitution. Demand transparency.

WHO?
I guess this guy got a few calls from the Obamunists over the last few days. ROFL
And we’re supposed to believe this why?
Maybe so: “Hey don’t ruin things! Obama wasn’t born in Kenya... at least not until 22 Jan 09.” lol.
Oops, time to cover are butts. Deny deny deny.....
The original radio interview? Or the follow-up questions to the embassy in Kenya?
are = our
Not buying it. I heard the interview, read the transcript. It was clear what was said. The whole nation of Kenya has been reveling in Zero’s victory, exactly because he was born there. It is a well-known fact there. His grandmother says she was at his birth in Kenya. I believe her. She may be the only honest one in the family!
It doesnt really matter what the conversation was and whether it was misinterpreted or not.
The Best Evidence Rule should apply in a court of law, not hearsay, and not citations to non-authoritative sources (I am thinking of Berg’s cite to Italian Wikipedia in his court papers, which I found to be humorous, and certainly not persuasive).
To paraphrase a well-used line from Jerry McQuire: Show me the BC!
HAHAHAHAHAHA!
What a hoot! "Ogego: "It would depend on the government. It's already well known."
BUWHAHAHAHA!
Let’s make a Reynold’s Wrap “rapp”....I am series...I can’t wait til Dec 5.
Show it
Show it
Show it
Isn’t there any way we can confirm that this wasn’t just another ‘shock jock’ prank?
Below is the money quote from this article:
An assistant to the ambassador, referring to herself only as “Trudy,” confirmed today that Ogego had indeed participated in the radio interview. But she said the show made leading statements and took the following comments out of context.
Clark: “We want to congratulate you on Barack Obama, our new president, and you must be very proud.”
Ogego: “We are. We are. We are also proud of the U.S. for having made history as well.”
Fellhauer: “One more quick question, President-elect Obama’s birthplace over in Kenya, is that going to be a national spot to go visit, where he was born?”
Ogego: “It’s already an attraction. His paternal grandmother is still alive.”
Fellhauer: “His birthplace, they’ll put up a marker there?”
Ogego: “It would depend on the government. It’s already well known.”
Ogego’s assistant insisted he was speaking about Barack Obama Sr., and not President-elect Obama.
WND asked, “Is Obama’s birthplace in Kenya?”
The woman replied firmly, “No.”
She said she could not say why Ogego responded the way he did, and she promised to have the ambassador call and explain his own comments. The ambassador never returned requests for comment.
If you wait until he assumes office, then you have to rely on the Rat Congress and Senate to remove him through impeachment. The only way this information means anything, if true, is for it to be proven before the electors vote. Even then, a lot depends on Democrats following the law for one of their own.
Not that it matters.
The Ambassador was caught off guard, and he let the truth slip out. Now Obama’s thug friends in Kenya are trying to cover it up.
I like the Ambassador, his excellency. There is a man who loves his country. To bad he isn’t free to tell the truth, and be proud of it.
exactly guy says his paternal grandmother is alive! thats the checkmate phrase!
No, I heard the interview. Ogego was specifically speaking about Obama Jr.
Isnt there some way we can confirm that Hussein Obomer is an American citizen?
There, I fixed it.
I honestly don't think that we have anything resembling a good/honest system anymore; America is corrupt.
A valid birth certificate would prove or disprove the whole controversy! Why in the heck doesnt Obama produce it and let us get on with our democracy. The longer he puts this off the stronger his political opposition doubters become, and the more they will scream.
Kinda like the “typical white” grandma in Hawaii, right? Did Hussein even go to her funeral? He seemed so concerned about her while he was in Hawaii breaking kneecaps...
Not quite.. if Obama is not a natural born citizen but instead a fraud, he will be considered a USURPER and will need to be removed from office by the police.

No wonder there’s a run on firearms.........
How can you misunderstand comments like that?
“”The only way this information means anything, if true, is for it to be proven before the electors vote. Even then, a lot depends on Democrats following the law for one of their own.””
I agree with you that this MUST come up before the electors vote. I also think that if this is possible, there WILL be a very large, strong movement from the People to have the law followed (even over the Dems) and therefore may not be too late.
Not so if it comes out after he’s sworn in - then, it likely won’t, since he’ll have authority over all information sources, investigative agencies and law enforcement.
“exactly guy says his paternal grandmother is alive!”
Will she still be such in 2 weeks? Or will she fall ill suddenly?
Ogego: It's already an attraction. His paternal grandmother is still alive.
Later on questioning, Ogego's assistant insisted he meant Barack Obama Sr. I hastily got to Wikipedia. Of course the father of the President-elect was Barack Hussein Obama I. Born 1936 died 1982. His father and Barack Obama II's grandfather, was Hussein Onyango Obama circa 1895-1979. His mother was one of several wives and she was given as Habiba Akuma Obama. I find it hard to get her age and indeed what happened to her.
The possibility of a monument to the present Barack's father seems pretty dim, considering the tortured and destructive existence of the man. The possibility of HIS( Barack Obama Sr) grandmother being still alive would depend on her age at marriage.
The plot thickens.
I wonder if there are any travel records anywhere? Like for instance my grandfather is recorded traveling on such and such a ship out of Poland in 1912 can’t we do the same thing here?
If they really interviewed the Ambassador, and apparently they did if he is now denying that that is what he said, then I don’t see much wiggle room there.
They clearly asked about “President-elect Obama,” and the Ambassador was also clearly talking about that same “President-elect Obama,” NOT his father.
“One more quick question, President-elect Obama’s birthplace over in Kenya, is that going to be a national spot to go visit, where he was born?”
Frankly, I didn’t originally give this story much credit, because who knew who these jamokes were actually talking to? But now it appears that they were actually talking to Ambassador Ogego.
Ha!
Yes, Barack Obama Sr is NOT the President-elect, and HIS paternal grandmother (the President-elect’s GREAT grandmother) is not still alive. The Ambassador was CLEARLY speaking of Junior.
However, in fairness, when he spoke of it being a tourist attraction already, the Ambassador may not have meant the exact birth site of Obama; he may well have meant the family homestead or town.
Well, I heard the interview and there is no possible way that Ogego was talking about Barry O’s dad.
“exactly guy says his paternal grandmother is alive! thats the checkmate phrase!”
EXACTLY!! Ogego tried to cover up his accidental statement of truth, but he failed miserably.
Oh, come on. I've got an extended black family of hundreds, and I can tell you that there's a Thanksgiving celebration at every one of their homes. And they're all libs, to boot.
Damn...
Unless Obama SENIOR'S grandmother is alive, the "assistant" just proving to be another liar, a trait which seems to follow Obama 'junior' and all those who support him.
British law does not supercede American so if American law said he is Natural born then that is it. And I believe birth in Hawaii would give him citizenship no matter where his father was born.
Only one think matters here and it is birth in Kenya. Everything else will not stop him from being president.
He certainly is acting as if he cannot prove birth within the US.
obumpa
Or just as likely, from Obama's cousin, Prime Minister (of Kenya) Raila Odinga. Guy got the job by following Obama's advice, "No Raila, No Peace", after he, Odinga, lost an election.

Here's Raila's thugs carrying out that "advice".

Around 1,500 people died in the post election violence.
Obama has already made public two accounts of his birth certificate. One, is his published biography where he describes in detail the contents of his Hawaii birth certificate. Two, is his pre-election public website publishing an (arguably) official Hawaii record of his birth certificate. It seems to me these two public self-disclosures, truthful or not, greatly reduce his claim of privacy (vs public record) of his vault copy Hawaii Certificate of Live Birth.
If it gets to court and he argues privacy, this can be used as a counter. In my opinion, the Hawaiian privacy law for his birth certificate probably doesn’t hold up to logical scrutiny.
(I guess he made a mistake on that one, over 75,000 signatures in 3 days on a SHOW THE BC petition at http://worldnetdaily.com).
...and that....
“the plaintiff could not show evidence of irreparable harm” if the BC was not made public.
Anybody know if judges in Hawaii are allowed to do drugs without penalty?....Is this guy kidding me????
I dunno.... seems to me you're gonna have to lawyer up real hard to make that stick, and Obama's got the best team foreign money can buy.
Seriously, is there?
Has anybody called them to verify or something?
