Chopra: Attack prompts tough questions [Islamists attacked b/c they're worried about Obama!]

[...jump to the middle of the transcript...]

The situation is complex, Larry, because it could inflame to proportions that we cannot even imagine. It has to be contained. We now recognize that this is a global problem, with only a global effort can solve this.

And you know, one of the things that I think is happening is that these militant terrorist groups are actually terrified that [President-elect Barack] Obama's gestures to the rest of the Muslim world may actually overturn the tables on them by alienating them from the rest of the Muslim world, so they're reacting to this.

You know, this is Obama's opportunity to actually harness the help of the Muslims.

You know, there's 1.8 billion Muslims in the world. That's 25 percent of the population of the world. It's the fastest-growing religion in the world. We cannot, if we do not appease and actually recruit the help of this Muslim world, we're going to have a problem on our hands.

And we cannot go after the wrong people, as we did after 9/11, because then the whole collateral damage that occurs actually aggravates the situation.

[...etc.... including an attempt at moral equivalence between the Americans and the Islamists (War on Terror = oxymoron)]

Deepak Chopra was a kill-Terri (Schiavo) proponent. He is definitely not on the side of life. The man is a fraud. I am conducting my own little boycott of him.

Just who made Chopra a U.S. security advisor? He needs to shut up and Larry King needs to retire ASAP.

Deepak Chopra has turned from a spiritual philosopher into an ardent islamist and if memory serves me right is a founder of a huge mosque planned for New York, which ran into some trouble when the project director turned out to be a terror linked jihadist.

BTW check out these Birth Certificate videos on AntiMullah

Deepak is brilliant...he has made a multi million dollar fortune with his Indian accent new age crapola.

Ha. What a scum...He has a hard time keeping a straight face on when he spouts this warmed over Maharishi pablum sold to stoned hippies decades ago.

Is there nothing that the Big O can't do?

From the article:

You know, there's 1.8 billion Muslims in the world. That's 25 percent of the population of the world. It's the fastest-growing religion in the world.

Maybe he can begin convincing the peoples of other religions to stop aborting the next generation? Otherwise, the West will never keep up.

the number of things he talks about and knows nothing about is enormous.

What is it with Westerners listening to these Indian guru types? Chopra should stick to talking about things he knows about, like flies and mud.

WTF? You gotta be kidding me. Terrified? Overturn the tables? I'm laughing so hard my stomach hurts.

gestures to the rest of the Muslim world may actually

"May actually"? Chopra, your obviously trying to convince yourself to believe your own horse crap ... It doesn't sound like your overly confident about what your spouting off; idiot.

Chopra sees the world like looking at a photographic negative. Where there is light he sees darkness. Where there is darkness he sees light.

When it comes to Dharma he talks a great game. He knows all the concepts and buzz words but it should be apparent to any serious practitioner that he has no actual experiential realization. His words tell me that his mind stream has been poisoned by his own spiritual practice. That is the biggest downfall of all.

Deepak Chopra = FAIL!

I totally agree.

Let's just say that I'm glad that I wasn't sipping my coffee when I read it. I just bought this Acer 22" LCD, and I'm in no mood to replace it so soon. :-)

Thank you. It's a bad enough fault to turn one's own spiritual practice on its head but Chopra is misleading a multitude of others and charging them a premium price for the privilege. He's digging a karmic hole for himself with a dragline bucket.

Go post. Thanks. I recognize that psychological analysis of politics is usually not welcome by the public

Actually, psych analysis of politics might be welcome by the public if it wasn't perpetrated by Chopra and other psych frauds like him. However, isn't it funny that psychs always seem to side with the leftists?
