Even if he changed his mind about Islam, I can understand why he might not say anything while in prison. Prison would be a poor place to be a recovering Muslim.

With that said, even if he were speaking against Islam, I say keep him right where he is until he finishes his sentence unless Afghanistan wants to try him. We have no way of knowing if he has truly changed or is just trying to get out.
