I totally agree.
Democracy is a sad joke in this country.

I share your pessimism. The propaganda coming out of the WH in the next four years will dwarf what the Soviets had during their zenith. Obama will be painted as the greatest leader this country has ever had no matter what he does.

They will blame it on Bush just like everything else that might go wrong.

The shuck and jive act gets old quick.
Character is a word you will never come to associate with Obama. Don’t worry, there are plenty of other words.

To them, the election of Obama is a 'happily ever after' ending.
It has not yet occured to them there will be elections in the future which won't end as favorably.

Yep - I don’t think people will wake up until his second term. By then, it will be too late.
To: Tarpon
Completely lacking in character for sure.
I don’t know what more we could have done to educate people about the man they ultimately decided to elect. Before Hillary was desperately scrambling to retain some power for herself she was telling far more truth about Obama than even McCain got around to. Palin tried, but the media had already painted her in the unflattering light it seems to reserve for all female Pres/Veep candidates. How will people react when eventually they find out that every last word was true?
Watching Obama’s house of cards collapse will be entertaining indeed. But with the media still on his side... who knows how long it will take?

Interesting point that BHO is beginning to look like a Clinton III term. However, I am not so optimistic, as I think his handlers are purposely positioning him in this way in the minds of the public. It reassures the Southern moderates of his party and gives Republicans a false sense of security. All-the-while, BHO works behind the scenes with his radically loyal core to implement a far left agenda.
MooseChic, I love your screen name ;-)

Sure, it’s easy to paint whatever you want on an empty canvas.
Reality, on the other hand, is not so pretty. And reality is not what the Left wants.
