Concerned citizens have taken yet another step to compel Barack Obama to release documentation proving he is a natural-born citizen – by funding a full-page "Open letter to Obama" in tomorrow's issue of the Chicago Tribune.
American donors have contributed tens of thousands of dollars to the We the People Foundation to sponsor the advertisement. It appeared in the main news section of the newspaper and is scheduled to run again tomorrow morning.

This is the meat: none of the 57 :) SOSs bothered to vet 0.
But some vetted Calero.
Are you kidding? We're already voluntary slaves for the government. They take 40% of our wages in taxes and government fees, and they're no where near done with us yet. Wait'll you get your Universal Health Care bill.
Without our voluntary servitude in exchange for our meager land purchases (which we have to pay taxes on for the rest of our lives anyway) , the politicians would lose their grandiose lifestyles as well as all their vote buying power.
We work for them, pal. If you think you're only working for yourself, think again.

Two points:
1. It would cost ten dollars for Obama to get a certified copy of his long form birth certificate, and put all of these questions to rest. He has spent over $ 800,000 in legal fees to avoid having to produce that document.
2. Since the law in Hawaii in 1961 allowed a registration of birth in Hawaii even if the child was born elsewhere, as long as the parent(s) could attest to living in Hawaii for one year prior to the birth, it may have been the plan of Madeline Dunham, in advance, to register her grandson’s birth and put the birth announcement in the paper in the Honolulu paper in August, 1961, to legitimize the birth of her grandson. Having a mixed “marriage” in 1961 was not socially approved, and Madeline Dunham was upwardly mobile in the banking industry.
So, to avoid speculation of the types listed abocve, why not just produce the original birth certificate.
John McCain had no trouble producing his on request.
It says it ran today and will run again tomorrow.

He did touch on the BC issue briefly when Barry “rushed” to Hawaii to see his dying grandmother.
He spends all his time in the MSM output... he probably hasn’t done much of his own investigation on this..
but if he reads the letter, i’m sure his eyebrows will raise.
I’m expecting him to at least address it.

Seriously - I heard Leo on Plains Radio say that he included the 5 State’s actions in his brief as proof that SOME SOS’s did their job ...
BTW: I live in MD and checked COMAR (Code of Maryland) - you ain’t gonna believe this ...
The MD SOS has SOLE DISCRETION as to who gets on the ballot ... no guidelines!
That, AND
ALL candidates have to swear and sign a certificate of eligibility EXCEPT DEM and GOP ...
MD states that nomination by their parties is good enough AND that as long as the MSM believes they are qualified, that is good enough for MD - no certificate required.
I was thinking about filing a suit in MD, but with THESE Mickey Mouse regulations - I WOULD NOT HAVE STANDING ...
HOWEVER, I think the MD Socialist Party is filing a suit based on 14th Amendment equal protection violations (having to file a certificate vs. DEM and GOP NOT having to file).
If it does, I won't be shocked if its buried by the socialist bastards and thier propaganda machine.
