Eminent psychiatrist makes case that leftist thinking is a mental disorder
WASHINGTON – Just when liberals thought it was safe to start identifying themselves as such, an acclaimed, veteran psychiatrist is making the case that the ideology motivating them is actually a mental disorder.
"Based on strikingly irrational beliefs and emotions, modern liberals relentlessly undermine the most important principles on which our freedoms were founded," says Dr. Lyle Rossiter, author of the new book, "The Liberal Mind: The Psychological Causes of Political Madness." "Like spoiled, angry children, they rebel against the normal responsibilities of adulthood and demand that a parental government meet their needs from cradle to grave."
While political activists on the other side of the spectrum have made similar observations, Rossiter boasts professional credentials and a life virtually free of activism and links to "the vast right-wing conspiracy."
For more than 35 years he has diagnosed and treated more than 1,500 patients as a board-certified clinical psychiatrist and examined more than 2,700 civil and criminal cases as a board-certified forensic psychiatrist. He received his medical and psychiatric training at the University of Chicago.
Rossiter says the kind of liberalism being displayed by both Barack Obama and his Democratic primary opponent Hillary Clinton can only be understood as a psychological disorder.

Both my husband and I will be reading our own new books as we sit at the sofa circle with relatives over Christmas. Make sure to leave it on the coffee table as well when we aren’t reading :-). LOL. Makes good sense to me, but hey, I have noted this all along as well. Glad to see someone out there finally is using their God given brain.

Charles Krauthammer has already confirmed this condition - and he was on FOX at the time.
Primarily .. the liberals operate on the “projection technique” .. which goes like this: whatever the liberals accuse their enemies of doing .. the liberals are really exposing what they are actually doing themselves.
I know that sounds crazy, but I lived with a person with this disorder .. and the constant comment was that I was fooling around with somebody - when in actuality - they were the person who was fooling around and that was confirmed to me by many people after we were divorced.
If you go back and remember some of the things the dems were saying about Bush .. “he used drugs” - when the truth was that it was Gore who had been doing drugs (and it was the reason he was expelled from college). One other one was that Bush was “stupid” - when the truth was that although Gore had managed to graduate from Yale, Gore had flunked out of Yale’s law school .. and then Gore was expelled from divinity school (partly because of the drug use). While Bush had earned a Master’s Degree in Business from Harvard.
I hope people are beginning to get the picture. The liberals are always the victim .. always the smartest .. never at fault for anything .. always expecting utopia and denying reality.
I know when Krauthammer made his prouncements on Fox, the panel was stunned into silence.
So the inmates are really running the asylum. Maybe liberals can't handle the guilt of their actions and try to cut down the person whom they've wronged by transferring their sins to them.

A good example is the abortion issue. The liberals want to have unprotected sex - whenever - with whomever - doing whatever - and then they want to be able to get rid of the evidence (the innocent baby) - and have the TAXPAYER pay for it.
This is why most liberals freak out at the very thought of having to be held accountable for their permiscuous(?) actions.
Some are mad, some are the dupes of evil, but some I believe are just plain evil. The ones that are evil are the *astards I worry about.

For the leaders there is another explanation: They are sane but evil. They know exactly what they are doing and relish the power it gives them.The new deal is now the raw deal we’ve been expecting.
Savage made it mainstream, he was hardly the first to say it.
