Yunz all following the “Natural born status” issue n’at?
I’ve been listening to Leo Donofrio’s interviews on Plains Radio. He’s got all his ducks in order. The Justices meet about it tomorrow in a closed session.
I hope Quinn talks about it today.

Did you hear the Dec 2 Ed Hale show on Plains radio. He got several strange phone calls indicating things are moving forward with this. Sounds very, very serious. But then, he said consider it only rumors at this time, because it could have been pranksters, but he seems to think they sounded credible.

Although the AFRO ad emphasizes the birth certificate, when in fact the case has nothing to do with that. It’s his status as a citizen.

Yup..the Donofrio case is not questioning his citizenship...it's about he being a natural born citizen. At least that was my take.
We are doing the story on WSHH this morning.

Did anyone hear Q&R talking about the Big 3 CEOs driving to DC today in their companies hybrids? I find that interesting for a couple of reasons.
1. The GM CEO is going in the VOLT which is NOT a hybrid but an EV. Besides that the project has been put on the back shelf because it's not expected to be profitable.
2. TOMOR0W'S "Hoped for" HEADLINE TODAY! It would be really cool if one or more of the vehicles broke down on the way and had to be towed in by AAA.
3. AFAIK The only Chrylser hybrids available are the Dodge Durango (YAY! I drive a 98 Durango) and the Chrysler Aspen. Both have been CANCELED. They made about a thousand and stopped production. There are a few "project" vehicles including a Jeep but they are for the future, not now and could be canceld like the Volt.

Good morning...I am back from the land of no internet connection (the gerbil is back on the wheel spinning away!!!)
I too have been following the Donofrio case and Berg (Q/R had him on waaaay back) earlier. There seems to be too much 'out there' including the law clerk/lawyer (a woman...I'll have to look up her name again) from Chicago, who wrote a paper stating that the 'natural born citizenship' Amendment was 'limiting' (I'll have to look up the exact wording.) But the interesting thing...it was written ABOUT TWO YEARS AGO...back when somebody (I am whistling here) who KNOWS where he was born decided to run for Prexie anyway
And lastly...my fellow Yunzers...how about Fast 'She has no family and work on Homeland Security 20 hours a day!!!' Eddie. He didn't just 'step in it' he jumped and did a belly flop :)

Hi PaM! GLad you're back! Fast Eddie DID step in it...again.
We ran the story yesterday. Today he's issued a retraction but I don't know if that will make a difference.
BTW sorry if my posts seem a little disorganized and for all the typos. Like I've mentioned I'm posting between doing stuff here. Right now I'm looking up the precent of mortages in 2007 that were sub-prime. For what reason I don't have a clue, and hopefully the anchor will have forgotten about it by the time I leave. See if it were ME writing or reporting I'd "write around" what I don't know.
For example if I don't make or type of a car involved in an incident I wirite "vehicle." Tha'ts a simple example but you know what I mean. Some of us here - even after a HALF CENTURY of writing, get stuck over things like that.

yes originally he was supposed to go in a malibu but the last I heard - I think it was on the durangoclub.com website this morning - he was going in a volt. Come to think of it I think I'm gonna look it up to make sure.

Its good to be back...it was the little thingy in the USB port (our computer is old...rebuilt several times) that the receives the broadband router signal. Who know why it went bad?
Now to Fast Eddie...the mike was still on...and Rendell was talking to someone about 0bama's choice of Janet Napalitano as Chief of Homeland Security...and Eduardo said (re Napalitono) 'she doesn't have a family, so she can work like 20 hours a day on Homeland Security.' The talking heads were exploding over the 'sexist' remark by Rendell.

A Lucerne and a Cobalt too? Why...that leaves a bigger carbon footprint (even with the ethanol) than just one mini-van. Haven't these guys heard of carpooling? Now three more 'used' vehicles will hit the aftermarked (LOL).
I like the idea of the carpool...SNL had it spot on :) I'd like to hear them decide on Quizno's (as opposed to the cheaper McDs).

Just found an article where Nardelli went in an Aspen...dang I wish it had been a Durango. Waggoner in a Malibu and Mulally in an Escape.
Would still ahve been cool if they had broken down.

I guess since they don’t have as many Republicans to kick around, the Libs are going after each other.

Good morning rwi!
Campbell Brown (over at CNN) is practically frothing at the mouth over Rendell's comments about Napalitano not having a family...yet...I don't seem to remember her (or really anyone other Paglia--and of course Malkin, Coulter) or any other female being so rabid about the comments about Gov. Palin (can she do the job? she has a baby!!!) The irony is grand isn't it?

Thanks, I didn’t know that they had a national or syndicated show. Lots of good info and I listened to them all the way to Morgantown.
