Yep, old news. A lot of people dismiss because it doesn’t say ‘where’ he was born. What I find interesting is how short of a time period between his birth date and the announcement (under ten days), especially at the time it may have taken over a week between submission and publication. They must have shot straight back from Kenya and requested this, no recovery time for mom.

You are assuming he was actually born on August 4th.

Technically, even if he was born in a Kenyan hospital, it doesn’t close the matter. Title 8 which defines what a natural born citizen is has a lot of stipulations. One discussed earlier today was if Bambi’s mom was not married or if the marriage was illegal. Title 8 gives an exception for ‘single parentage’ where the child is automatically given citizenship of the mother, no matter if that child is born in another country (there are residency restrictions on the mom.) Another exception is unknown parentage and is based on where the child is ‘discovered’ and how long he lives here. Even if he where born in Kenya and his mom and Sr. where legally married, he still may be considered a natural born citizen under Title 8 if the mother meets residency requirements (of which she was on the cusp of.)

This will be a crazy mess if it is show he was born in Kenya because that doesn’t end the issue..

Maybe Todd Schnitthead can tell us what hospital zero was born in.

I do not understand...

It would serve you well to do some reading before deciding "the whole thing is silly."

.

Me guesstimate is that over 20% (low side!) of FR signups are trolls, sleepers, morons, radicals, Muzzies, DNC pros, mr. creepy surrogates -

Who slither out while pretending to be Conservative Republicans

The FR name, tagline, profile page is often camoed with “Conservative”, “Republican”, etc.
Sometimes well before elections the comments may seem to be conservative

At election time or about illegal aliens - suddenly - their comments change or disrupt

The internet is a shadow

Do not accept what somebody posts as honest and the truth

FR also has some dense FReepers who cannot or will not comprehend or admit the difference between “naturalized” - “citizen” - or “natural-born citizen”

These we call morons

If I offend anyone tonight - Tough!

Probably not. They will find some technicality to dismiss all the suits. Quite a dilemma for the SCOTUS, if they really followed the Constitution it would create havoc.

You are woefully mis-informed. Not only does the LA Times' sloppy journalism get the Obama story wrong it also is completely wrong about John McCain!

McCain was NOT born in a military hospital, And the document they are peddling as 0bama's "Birth Certificate" is a crude forgery that has been unmasked by multiple experts.

So do some research and then rejoin the conversation, but I will warn you, the media coverage, such that it is is totally skewed with, half-truths, wrong assumptions, mis-information and outright lies, So pick your facts carefully.

At the end of the day you will see that NO-ONE, ANYWHERE has produced a trusted document signifying where 0bama was born.

The only document that could resolve the issue is under seal in Hawaii and 0bama is spending a fortune to keep it that way.

Now if you don't smell a rat here, you are more easily placated that the more than 155,000 that have signed World Net Daily's petition to get the document released.

Snicker, that has been your new mantra along with creepy.
Been meaning to say that most threads are full of 2008 signups and they are posting the threads like crazy.

One I was just looking at was wishing everyone a Merry Christmas had JimRob spelled JimROB. It was a brand new signup and nobody commented on that.

Yeah, the US Supreme Court is going to declare the first black President ineligible to take office based on this.

I am not opposed to the matter being taken to court to be explored.

Yet you believe they won't declare him ineligible, regardless of what is found?

“But I shake my head at the number of people here who actually think that it is going to result in Obama not being allowed to take office.”

You are wrong!

The number of people here are just trying to uphold the Constitution of the United States.

Why aren’t you?

You can’t even get basic facts right, such as claiming Hawaiian officials have made statements they never made.

Your reading comprehension needs some work.

Given the fact that Barak Sr. was ALREADY married back in Kenya, by any state’s law, the marriage to Stanley Dunham was invalid anyway, as it was bigamy.

Legally speaking, she was a single mother....and practically too, as they divorced after less than 2 years—with Barak Sr. after that having little or nothing to do with Barak, Jr.

Obama’s grand parents could have called it in to the newspapers when Obama was really born in Mombasa, Kenya. It’s certainly not conclusive of an Hawaiian birth.

Precisely so. Three of my children were born at home. We did not take them into any hospital, or any such thing. Their birth certs came later on the signed certification of the midwife. We called the newspapers with birth announcements in each case.
