Yes it is. It is the short for Birth Certificate, and it is just as valid as the long-form given to his parents when he was born.
It's certainly good enough to prove he's a citizen to any government agency. The hospital and doctor's name are irrelevant for this purpose. Only the place of birth is relevant, and it's on the certificate.
He is fighting in court in order to NOT release his actual BC.

This has been posted repeatedly. He had Phil Bergs case dismissed in lower courts for lack of standing. I am not giving you the low down on all the suits. Do some research.
Just proving he’s a citizen doesn’t cut it. There is a difference between being a citizen, and being a natural born citizen. This is nontrivial.
The COLB doesn’t shed any light on this issue. The actual BC might.
Oh, and for the record, I don’t think this is going anywhere. But it sure is curious.
