Snubbed by Palin, Oprah is fuming now
Oprah Winfrey has slammed Sarah Palin after the failed Republican vice-presidential candidate snubbed offers to appear on the chat queens show. While Palin did make an appearance on other US hosts Greta Van Susteren, Matt Lauer and Larry Kings shows to talked about her unsuccessful bid to reach the White House, but she ignored The Oprah Show despite being invited.
And such mistreatment has left Oprah bitter and she has now claimed that the Alaskan governor will be desperate to talk to her when she releases her memoirs.
"I said I would be happy to talk to Sarah Palin when the election was over... I went and tried to talk to Sarah Palin and instead she talked to Greta. She talked to Matt. She talked to Larry. But she didn't talk to me. Maybe she'll talk to me now that she has a (multi-million dollar) book deal, Contactmusic quoted Oprah as saying.
The US TV titan has been a committed supporter of US President-elect Barack Obama throughout his campaign for the White House.
She will also host her show from Washington, D.C. the day before his inauguration in January (09).

Ocra can screw herself!
Stick it where the sun doesn’t shine Orca!
Um, Sarah has a multi-million dollar book deal. Why would she need you, Okra???
I think she endorsed The Great One, so she can talk to him instead.
Good for Sarah! Smart move.
How many times did that article call Palin a failure. Talk about rubbing it in.
Agreed, I don’t need Oprah to tell me to buy it.
Oprah Windbag had her chance to interview Palin in September and October and she said no then.
Apparently bigger than her butt . . .
Wow, Oprah thinks she is royalty, just like our collection of fools in D.C.
Hey, Oprah. You have gotten so full of yourself that you come across as being a pompous ass. Hate to break it to you, but your days on weekday TV are numbered. Sounds like your show will disappear from the airwaves when your contract is up, whether you like it or not.
As I recall, Oprah snubbed Sarah a couple of months ago, so now the shoe is on the other foot.
I doubt this is true. Sarah may not go on oprah, though I suspect she will eventually. But Oprah’s smart enough to understand why she might not be eager to do so.
Tyra Banks is getting all of the younger viewers and beating her in the desired demographics, Orca’s time is limited.
I’ve never understood the popularity of the Oprah Show. The concept is an overweight woman, sitting on a couch with a microphone, lording her eight-figure paycheck over people with five-figure paychecks if they are lucky. She recommends books that she doesn’t read, gives away gifts that she hasn’t paid for and dispenses advice that she hasn’t followed. You’d have to be a masochist to sit and watch such a show. Palin shows intelligence by not enabling the Oprah pandering.
Governor Palin does not need Oprah. Oprah’s audience are a bunch of braindead, nanny staters. They wouldn’t have a clue as to what Governor Palin was talking about. Their I.Q.s are way too low.
Harpo the killer whale can go scratch. She has to attend religious services now for “The One” anyway.
Sarah can go whenever she is good and ready.
Perhaps the fat one and the hot one can just sit down and have some tea.
