Piyush Jindal (pronounced /ˈdʒɪndəl/) was born on June 10, 1971 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, to Punjabi Indian immigrants Amar and Raj Jindal, who had recently arrived for Raj to attend graduate school at Louisiana State University. I'm dead sure he can produce his Baton Rouge birth certificate.
Thanks for clearing that up.

Donofrios theory is that neither Obama or Jindal are qualified based on the fact that their fathers were not American citizens at the time of their birth.
And neither were any of the first 4 Presidents.

If that is the case I hope Cao enjoys his one and only term.

You are both under the assumption that Plaintiff Donofrio is correct and making final judement re Gov. Jindal who
is not part of the Obama argument.
If you know factuality Obama was born in Hawaii, do show the proof or STFU about what you also think about gov. Jindal

La. voters oust indicted Rep. William JeffersonLMAO, somebody must have come along and offered the morons even more "free stuff" than Jefferson did.

You are exactly right...it is amazing how many people here are ignorant of basic laws of the land. However children born to ILLEGAL parents should not be awarded citizenship. Jinda’s
parents were here legally and therefore there is nothing to deny him “natural born” US Citizenship.

Again, the citizenship of his parents at the time of his birth ARE IRRELEVANT. It is WHERE he was born that counts. Jindal's parents were here LEGALLY when he was born in BATON ROUGUE. That makes him A NATURAL BORN citizen, which means he CAN BE president. Now if Obama can prove likewise for Hawaii, then the case against him is a non-issue as well.

You need to seek some more truth LOL.

This makes me feel good. I had come to the conclusion that African Americans do not seem to care if their representatives are accused of major moral flaws as long as they have a D after their name.
I’ve seen too many black politicians that have done really bad things, and the voters just keep voting them in. In fact, I just saw Marion Barry on tv today. Why is the man even around?

Both Obama and Jindal are qualified.
The strange thing is this -- this is a thread about Joseph Cao's victory over William Jefferson. It has now morphed into the question of Jindal and Obama's qualifications for presidency. Go Figure.
To: trumandogz
Since you have proof of where Obama was born, do let all see it and not the photoshop Hawaiian bc

It appears Murtha was correct when he insulted his constituency..
They are every bit as stupid as he claimed them to be.

I have no proof but as an American born overseas, I know it would have been very difficult to hide the an overseas birth.
He obviously has a U.S. Passport and that passport shows where he was born. That passport and the file has been seen by others and none of the people that have said that he was born in Kenya.

"Neither of Jindals parents were citizens at the time of his birth. But that is IRRELEVANT. America's system is Jus soli (Latin for "right of the soil" or, somewhat figuratively, "right of the territory"), or birthright citizenship. It is a right by which nationality or citizenship can be recognised to any individual born in the territory of the related state.
True. Think "Anchor Babies."

Now as I understand it there are actually three types of citizenship:
1. Citizenship...Your born in this country.
2. Naturalized Citizenship: You are born else where, but choose to become a citizen.
3. Natural Born Citizen: Your parent were both citizens (by birth or naturalization) AND you were born in this country. The only office it is required is POTUS, see constitution.
