My firm's closed on Inaugaration day. We're at Farragut Square, so getting into the office would be a nightmare. One good thing, I suppose....
I shall be off somewhere in the mountains celebrating the rights guaranteed me by the Second Amendment, which said soon to be forsworn communist has pledged to infringe.
LOL! We watched it earlier this week. I loved the cameo.
I saw a story the other day that said that hotels have informed those that booked rooms at reasonable rates have had them raised to $500 or so a NIGHT.
Illegal probably, but fine print may let them get away with it.
Did that happen to you?
I haven’t been contacted yet, but I plan on canceling my reservation anyway.

The Democrats did that 4 and eight years ago.
That’s my plan. Plus I’m still hoping to get tickets. My congressman’s office said they would let me know this week. If they’re doing them first come first serve, I should be near the top of the list as I requested in June.
I want them to be calling for gorgeous, clear, sunshine...and then get hit with a surprise blizzard on the morning of the 20th. Schadenfreude, baby. Let’s see the Obamessiah stop the snow!
