Yep. Anyone who thought the birth certificate thing was going anywhere was positively looney. It's the same crowd that barked for years in the 1990s, "If the people only KNOW x, y, z about Clinton, they'll impeach him/throw him out/his popularity will fall." Nope.

The voters know all they want about Obama.

It is now time to get serious in the fight against his POLICIES.

So Obama won.

He fought all the way to the Supreme Court to avoid showing his birth certificate. /golfclap

Anyone else, for any other job, and that person would be called a nutcase to spend so much money, to avoid such a simple task.

Clearly its over, but to anyone who thinks about this in a critical manner, its clear that he had a terrible secret to hide.

I think it will not go away and in fact may become larger since he did fight so hard to avoid producing it.

It will not go away.

Let's just hope that there's nothing to the birth certificate thing, because if there is and someone else, a terrorist group or an enemy nation, gets the goods on Barry's birth, the blackmail threat is infinite.

Note to the SCOTUS: You'd've done this nation a service by airing this out.

Something to hide? Yep, not a doubt in my mind.

But, more importantly, the US Constitution has been dealt another blow by the Liberals.

I fear for the future of this grand experiment.

:::::::::::
And along with this, it is CLEAR that the SCOTUS is more interested in politics, than it is upholding the LAW OF THE CONSTITUTION. We continue to enter a very sad time in American history whereby the example of the SCOTUS and Obama, et al, is encouraging the people to avoid and break the law to accomplish their objectives, good or bad.

A complete travesty of justice, if there really is any left in America.

i'm sorry... was this case heard or just rejected in private?

once again, judges decide whether or not to enforce law. in this case, constitutional law.

and anyone that thinks it makes sense for 0bama to go through all this trouble to avoid showing a simple birth certificate, really needs to stop drinking the kool-aid

Someone will end up being extremely sorry in letting this guy off the hook. Its pretty obvious something is very phony about his birth and legal status.

And, people are still being encarcerated for stealing a loaf of bread.

Hillary jumped the shark be taking the Sec. of State job and is in no position to be critical.

I am ignorant of legal affairs but I had hoped that the suits were written and filed correctly and would be heard by the SCOTUS. Will we ever know the reasons for not hearing the case? Are all the justices spineless or is there a valid reason for their action? Does the Constitution mean anything?

Sadly, all three branches of our government must be under the control of one party.

I have never felt such pity for my country.

Please do not label “insane” the calling out of illegality.

If we become so cynical as to roll over and accept anything thrust upon us because the odds are daunting we are doomed.

We have to fight to uphold standards and law. We also fight against those that ridicule us for doing so, as you are doing.

The case is not heard.

When applying for a writ of certiorari the court reads your briefs. If they side for you they grant cert, which means they will review the trial court record and the new briefs that you submit. Then they can decide to hold a hearing.

I have to admit there was still some small part of me that believed truth would conquer lies, good would conquer evil, right would conquer wrong. I know... I know, I should have forgotten all those silly ideas when more than half our country voted for Obama, but there you go.

I guess, now, all a Presidential candidate has to do to prove they’re eligible is to say they’re eligible, act huffy, and lawyer up when asked to prove it by citizens (those puny little people who obviously no longer matter AT ALL in what used to be America). Of course, this only goes for Socialist, politically correct candidates. Republicans have to have lived spotless, blameless lives, documented to the Nth degree.

Donofro’s case didn’t question where Obama was born, it started with the assumption that he was born in Hawaii. His case was to challenge what is defined as a natural born citizen, arguing original intent instead of what is recognized under Title 8.

It’s like I’ve been saying in these previous posts about the Supreme Court taking up this Constitutional issue, about Obama being a “natural-born Kenyan” and not being qualified as President of the United States. They’re not interested in resolving this issue right now — but — they probably will resolve it after Obama has served his term in office... LOL..

So much for the Constitution these days...

Reason was the SCOTUS didn’t want to upset the apple cart.

And that is a real good reason to ignore the Constitution. God forbid people not like it.

Begin by finding out who the REPUBLICANS are. Locally, that means, perhaps, getting some good polling as to who those 20% of GOP voters who voted for Obama are. No sense working to turn out the base if 20% of the base votes for the other guy.
