SCOTUS is one of the very few courts that controls its own docket so is free to decide, with or without giving a reason, what cases it will hear on the merits. Over 95% of the applications to SCOTUS are rejected without giving a reason exactly as happened here, so the disposition of this case without a reason is not in the least unusual. (Yes, I am a lawyer).

"There is no dissent, no group of Justices who say this should have been considered, and giving their reasons. The lack of a dissent is, in my experience with the Court, a green light for all courts at the federal and state level, to throw out all remaining Obama-citizenship cases, without factual hearings."

I do not believe a dissent is written for an application for a writ of certiorari. All they did was decide not to review the trial court record.

“Told ya so.”

Big freakin’ deal...that doesn’t make you an intellect! We all knew it would probably fail..but that doesn’t mean it should....or that we shouldn’t try, and continue to try. That’s what’s wrong with the GOP, with the whole system...people with no backbone to try to correct what’s wrong..even though they get slapped down...then to get up and try again. That’s the American fabric.

Someone tell me again why we should worry if Obammie selects the next 2-3 SC justices????

Look at how well the SCOTUS has done for us after 20 years of a GOP White House. (heavy sarcasm here)

We are no closer to overturning Roe vs. Wade than we were 10-20-30 years ago.

And now this?????

These "FReepers" also conveniently forget that the Left went after McCain's natural-born citizenship requirements. The Donofrio case also questioned McCain's eligibility.

I guess these "FReepers", who talk tough about how many guns they own and how they're up for any challenge, couldn't stomach the possibility of riots from the Obama zombies. Bunch of phony keyboard warriors...

"I guess we have to pin hope ion the Alan Keyes case?"

Counting the Donfurio case there were 16 suits in 12 states. I don't think today (lack of) ruling affects the other 15.

Donofro’s case didn’t question where Obama was born, it started with the assumption that he was born in Hawaii.
That's what's wrong. The assumption was made that the Marxist was born in Hawaii. Therefore, the whole case must be flawed.

general information ... I don’t think you did it, but until your Post showed up ... I thought FR was being slammed by hackers.

Does this happen often - posting, then it gets yanked?

Anyone got any evidence that he wasn’t born in Hawaii? If not, you’ll have a hard time convincing anyone that this isn’t a complete waste of time.

I’ve been saying this for the past week, yea. Maybe now the FR will regain a bit of its sanity and purpose.

Thank you. I trust Roberts, Alito, Thomas and Scalia and if there was anything to this they would have gone after it. Tinfoil sales have become strong due to some of the posters here.

There also are cases coming from EC Electors that are pledged to McCain from several states. This according to the Democratic-Disasters group.
Certainly the Electors would have standing

No surprise... I didn’t look for this to go anywhere. I don’t know that I want SCOTUS deciding elections but I do know that Obama has something to hide and I am afraid it’s going to bite us in the hind quarters in a very bad way some day.

What do we say when members of our military are put on trial somewhere for following the orders of an improperly elected Commander in Chief?

Or that some treaty or agreement is void because The One signed it?

Thisis not going to go away and I am afraid it going to lead to a president Arnold... or worse.
