Laura Ingraham on her radio show reported that the magazine is going to be even “thinner,” which led her to believe that the magazine will be not much more than a front and back cover soon. Please let’s start a revolution:

I know and I agree. The college student was just an example I used to be civil to the older adults who are clueless. However, I have a conservative, intelligent, well-educated college friend who hadn’t heard of ACORN at the height of the recent presidential campaign. The other side of the coin are the people who are too busy raising families and building businesses to do much more than listen to a few words on whatever channel that is on while they are making dinner for their families. That’s why we need to start a conservative revolution to take our country back:

We cannot win in the elite media, but there are many new-media avenues.

Why do they not give the Holy Quran the same treatment?

Thanks for the link. Newsweek is dead right now, it's not news and it's not unbiased opinion, nor even two sided opinions, it's just a screech rag as demonstrated by this article

And, to dbz's question about why they don't bring up the Quran -- the reason is that the Quran and the Hadiths are too illogical: example 1: the reason Eid festival they celebrated was where they killed goats to commemorate the day when Abraham was orderd by God to kill his son Ishmael and then was stopped by God who gave him a goat instead.

Yes, that wasn't a typo: Mohammed substituted Ishmael for Isaac after he listened to the Jews living in Mecca in those times and decided that he would co-opt parts of their religion to create a unifying force for Arabs. He also took up the bit about Arabs being descended from Ishmael (well actually only the Arabs from the Sinai region are descendend from Ishmael. And, note no one had questioned or even raised a doubt abotu this tale (Abe and ISAAC) for 2000 odd years before Mohammed.

Mohammed also took up bits of Arianism (an early Christian heresies that said that Christ was a created being and not God) and took the story that christ was not crucified ont he cross but spirited away and a "substitute' was put in his place

There were also Nestorian Christians living in Mecca then and Mohammed probably heard bits and pieces from Revelations, so Mo very confidently says that Christ was actually born to a woman under a tree in the desert (read Revelations).

And, I leave the biggest ha ha from the Hadiths (the sayings of the prophet) -- in the Hadiths, Mo says the sun revolves around the earth. yes, that's in a religious text.

Cronos,

I agree that Christianity is the only faith that makes sense, but I think there is another reason not to bring up the Koran: we are a Christian country. If you bring up the Koran, you could bring up the Buddhists scriptures, etc, and even The Origin of Species, etc. It would never end. However, there is nothing wrong with bringing up the major world religions. It can only serve to show that morality is written on all our hearts. This is not a “Jesus freak” movement, as the Newsweek would love to have their reader believe. I’m not even sure they even have that reader left.

I also do want all people who uphold morality to join me, and I have good reason. I am not “tainted” by Muslims. How else can I witness to them? They are easier to bring to Christ than people without faith, who mostly believe that right and wrong comes from within, even though under this belief the individual can turn whatever evil impulse he as within his heart into his own morality.

Also, a moral society is blessed by its precepts even though many of the individuals in that society may not achieve eternal life. And when we know we have broken God’s law, we are closer to knowing that we will never be truly good in our own strength and to knowing that we need a true Savior, full of Grace.

A president’s getting away with adultery and perjury a has now led to the fact that most of our students don’t think that cheating on tests is really wrong because no one gets hurt, or so they think. And on it will go until the USA is a cesspool, which is not far off.

Please join me in protest against the evil CA Supreme Court and their continued godless attempt to ram a perversion of the blessing of marriage down our throats:
