A unanimous Supreme Court announced yesterday morning that it would not take up a case making the improbable claim that Barack Obama is a secret foreigner.
A dissenting opinion came out in the afternoon.
"This is the largest hoax perpetrated against the United States in 200 years," Philip Berg declared in a news conference at the National Press Club.

The Supreme Court doesn’t announce the results of conference votes, so he has no way of knowing if it was unanimous or a 6 to 3 vote to hear.
Sad part about that, most Obama voters probably couldn’t tell you what is wrong with that statement.

I notice even local “conservative” talk show hosts stating the gov. of Hawaii saw the birth certificate saying obama was born in Hawaii and that it’s right wing “wackos” who won’t give it up.
1. Did the gov actually SEE the b.c.? I thought it was sealed and no one but obama can access it.
2. The fact that a certification of live birth exists does not mean he was born in Hawaii, according to Hawaii law, correct?
I notice that the talk show hosts seem to ASSUME these two facts, and dismiss those pursuing this as wacko.

In 2012, the republican frontrunner for president should at some point seal up all his/her records from medical to educational history, to hospital records, the whole 9 yards. Anytime someone in the media tries to find something out about them, they should get nothing but silence. This should go on for at least two to three weeks until the media has a complete hissy fit and dems start filing suits claiming all sorts of outlandish unsubstantiated speculations against the candidate. The frontrunner should keep his/her birth certificate sealed up until there is at least 2-3 suits brought to force it out. Once the media has completely dominated every night for a week to a month with the issue, the front-runner should then call a press conference, explain why the records were sealed, and directly attack the MSM to illustrate their hypocracy.

What really needs to happen is McCain, who did get sued on the exact same issue and DID produce his birth cert, should file suit today. Won't happen in the Senate of aisle reaching though.

Does she really? The affidavit that Berg provided attesting to the accuracy of the interview with the grandmother also said the interview was conducted in a language the woman doesn't speak and in an ancestral village the woman has never lived in.

What the officials said is that they have his documents on file and that those documents are genuine. The documents are sealed. No official has made any statement as to the content of those documents.
The image posted on the internet, allegedly of Obama's Certification of Live Birth, has been pretty soundly debunked by Polarik as having been tampered with.
Even if it were on the up and up, the Certification of Live Birth is not the long form Birth Certificate, which would indicate all the details of Obama's birth (where, physician attending, etc.).
It is not just the 'birth certificate', though. Irregularities in travel patterns indicate there may be other issues as well, such as having been issued a foreign passport as an adult and having possibly claimed citizenship in another country in order to be granted admission to prestigious Colleges. If that were found to be the case, he would have relinquished his citizenship in order to get perks for college, and no longer have Natural Born Citizen status.
There are a number of documents which need to be produced, and the MSM, and unfortunately many others are diminishing the import of this issue by oversimplifying it, and then trying to ridicule those who keep pushing it forward in hopes of a finding of fact in the matter.

BUT Cort Wrotnowski’s case was distributed for conference by all nine SCOTUS Justices this coming Friday morning. Leo’s legal arguments were a large bases portion of Cort’s. Leo strengthened the arguments in Cort’s case, AND both Leo and Cort are heading to the SCOTUS Tuesday to file a supplemental brief further strengthening Cort’s case.
