Subverting the Constitution for a Senate Race?

l Franken is claiming that absentee ballots that were rejected because they weren’t in compliance with state law should be counted anyway, which poses a direct threat to the orderly application of state election laws. Unfortunately, we can probably expect litigation over that issue and the possibility of further court interference in our election procedures.

More troubling, though, is Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid’s remark that the Minnesota Board of Canvassers’ decision to not count the absentee ballots is “a cause for great concern.” If Franken ultimately loses, will Reid refuse to recognize the results of the election or to seat Norm Coleman, a clear abuse of power to achieve political ends? Franken’s lawyer, Marc Elias, has said he would seek Senate intervention if “there is no remedy before the canvassing board or before the courts.”

Reid won’t refuse to seat Coleman.

That would be the nuclear option, and it would split the country. Obama and the Dems don’t want to deal with that type of controversy now that they have as near absolute power as they’ll ever get. They have too many things on their agenda to allow it ALL to get sidetracked over Franken.

Coleman is toast. He should change his name to Rossi.

I’m more interested in Obama subverting the Constitution to become President. It seems like a recurring pattern with these guys.

Just maybe, Minnesota will give the win Coleman earned to Coleman to deflect all “most corrupt state” heat to Illinois.

I know many here have already figured this out, but it bears repeating: We’re seeing the culmination of a 40-year coup, my friends. A tiny group of people over a period of four decades, people whose core beliefs would have been laughed at four decades ago, people whose core beliefs even today are only shared by perhaps 15% of the country, have taken control of the world’s most powerful nation.

Liberals control the infostructure from near-cradle to grave, first through the education/indoctrination system, then via the MSM. Their control of the courts is not quite as complete, but they’re getting there, and if two seats on SCOTUS go liberal, they’ll be there. They control what is acceptable and unacceptable to think, say, and do in our country. They took a nation that God had blessed like none other in history, and began a systematic effort to shove God out of the national conversation. And now they control both houses of Congress and, come January, the White House.

And do understand that those in charge bear little resemblance to the Democrats of decades past. The ones in charge now are hardcore socialists and/or marxists, anti-military, pro-everything-and-everyone who hates traditional America. They’re the extremists, they’re in charge, and as of right now I have a hard time seeing how that’s gonna change unless we suffer a cataclysmic loss of American life that finally wakes the populace these people have lulled to sleep.

Before Saxby Chambliss won an easy reelection in the runoff, there was some talk about that. But now it isn’t likely. Obama doesn’t want any interference with his legislative agenda and Harry Reid appears willing to let this one go. A lot of Democrat Senators from conservative and marginal states don’t want to be on record as voting for Al Franken.

If Franken ultimately loses…..

Franken is now going to have to get the Senate involved in deciding the winner of this contest. And, if THAT doesn’t work, he’ll have to return to stand up “comedy” (from him!) and occasionally “guest hosting” on SNL. It seems that even if he ends up being declared the loser in MN, the rest of us lose right along with him!!!

12.09.08: Don't worry, if DemoRat Al Franken loses the election his old video sex mistress Arianna Huffington will give him "a job".
- - NOTE: Before running for U.S. Senate, Franken was a regular contributor to the Huffington (Com)Post. Aria and Al’s relationship goes back to the early-mid ‘90’s. The Soros Shadow Party is heavily involved in this MN U.S. Senate election fiasco trying to fraudulently rig a Franken win. Prediction: Franken and the SSP will lose. Harry Reid will recognize the election results and Norm Coleman’s win. Reid, via private conversations with 0bama, will not stick his/Democrats political neck out for a worthless loser like Franken. ~ FlA, SFARI.

12.08.08 FR: Arianna Huffington: “The Dirt” Part I
02.15.07 HuffPo: Al Franken and Me: Coming Clean, Preemptively by Arianna Huffington
- - Al Franken and I shared a bed. Repeatedly. While we were both married. And, long before Pam and Tommy Lee or Paris Hilton, we always made sure we had a camera to record our liaisons. Shocking but true. What can I say... And the fact that it was being recorded for posterity only added to the frisson. (Article re: Franken running for U.S. Senate and Arianna worried about being exposed as his previous secret sex biatch.)

It is a bit like the Islamic incursion, which uses the laws of their host countries against the citizens in order to further the Islamic incursion.

In this case, liberals know that conservatives will tend to follow the Constitution, not push too hard when things don't go their way, and assume that their opponents will have the same regard for fair play and well-played. Liberals will use this against conservatives in a political Jiu-Jitsu, using their strengths against them in order to defeat them.

So?...Any suggestions about what conservatives should do about it?

What would work and have an impact is a MASS conservative withdrawal from public schools. Unfortunately, not enough conservatives are to the point that they will do what needs to be done on this front, which is homeschool.

There's also the reality that a country is not taken over overnight, and it won't be taken back overnight. It took liberals forty years. The real conundrum is that our country cannot survive forty years of liberal control, not and remain a viable world power. Our enemies already see the opportunities before them (see Putin thinking about openly returning to control Russia) and they will act on our weaknesses. At the end of the day, I think there are only two paths that will turn our country around.

First, God promises to heal the land if "those who are called by (His) name will seek (His) face and turn from their wicked ways." Note that the whole country doesn't have to do this, only those who call themselves Christians. Take a look at the recently concluded election to see if those who call themselves Christians are interested in turning this nation around. (Some may disagree with my interpretation of this verse; I read it as requiring the "seek and turn" not only from Christians who really walk the walk, but also from those who call themselves Christians.)

Second, a cataclysmic loss of American life might wake the country from its stupor.
