As somebody put it (Krauthammer, I think), Obama believes in the "power of the grand gesture" and the "his own charisma" to work magic.
And voila: The heavens will open, the angels will sing, and there will be peace on Earth" (to paraphrase someone else).

We do need to mend our image in the Islamic World. But not Obama’s way, which is an acceleration of the proskenesis of the current administration to everything and nearly everyone Islamic.
We need to eject Muslims from the west, block any from further immigration here and attack them in their heartlands by surgical strikes at their centers of power.
Make no mistake about it - Islam is at war with the west - either through use of our own laws and tolerance against us from within, or through use of state sponsored terrorists from without. But when the Islamophile steps into the White House, he will pander to these termites as they destroy us rfom within and without.
