Confirmation of the Sowers article which said on Nov. 5 that Blago and Obama would meet. Here, three days later, it says they did meet.

No, they never met, and Obama has managed to steer completely clear of this Blagojevich mess. Reuters said so.

Telling a lie when the truth would serve just as well. Good way to get in trouble. Also the sign of a pathology.

I was in the audience at another time when Director of VA Duckworth visited Quincy and was quite impressed. I do think she would be a good choice for Obama's replacement in the US Senate.

Is there a way we can influence the governor's decision?

LOL

Tammy Duckworth ran for congress and lost. She is a seriously wounded vet who turned against the war, against her Commander in Chief. She still lost her election.

Guess the One would like to see her in congress.

Thanks!

The condition of the founding fathers’ spirit and intention for America was eloquently stated by Samuel Adams:

“The liberties of our country, the freedom of our civil Constitution, are worth defending at all hazards; and it is our duty to defend them against all attacks. We have received them as a fair inheritance from our worthy ancestors: they purchased them for us with toil and danger and expense of treasure and blood, and transmitted them to us with care and diligence. It will bring an everlasting mark of infamy on the present generation, enlightened as it is, if we should suffer them to be wrested from us by violence without a struggle, or to be cheated out of them by the artifices of false and designing men.”

Among the natural rights of the colonists are these: First a right to life, secondly to liberty, and thirdly to property; together with the right to defend them in the best manner they can.
Samuel Adams

He who is void of virtuous attachments in private life is, or very soon will be, void of all regard for his country. There is seldom an instance of a man guilty of betraying his country, who had not before lost the feeling of moral obligations in his private connections.
Samuel Adams

How strangely will the Tools of a Tyrant pervert the plain Meaning of Words!
Samuel Adams

It does not require a majority to prevail, but rather an irate, tireless minority keen to set brush fires in people’s minds.
Samuel Adams

It does not take a majority to prevail... but rather an irate, tireless minority, keen on setting brushfires of freedom in the minds of men.
Samuel Adams

Mankind are governed more by their feelings than by reason.
Samuel Adams

Our contest is not only whether we ourselves shall be free, but whether there shall be left to mankind an asylum on earth for civil and religious liberty.
Samuel Adams

The Constitution shall never be construed... to prevent the people of the United States who are peaceable citizens from keeping their own arms.
Samuel Adams

The liberties of our country, the freedom of our civil constitution, are worth defending against all hazards: And it is our duty to defend them against all attacks.
Samuel Adams

The natural liberty of man is to be free from any superior power on Earth, and not to be under the will or legislative authority of man, but only to have the law of nature for his rule.
Samuel Adams

We cannot make events. Our business is wisely to improve them.
Samuel Adams

Besides, Obama already said that he is "sad," so I'm satisfied.

What would really be sweet is if Blago were to rollover.

Red rover red rover it’s time for you to come over!

Maybe there is a silver lining in all this. Especially if it were Hussein (or one of his closely connected minions) who offered to raise 500k for Blago if he chose Hussein’s preference for Senator. Afterall, it is Hussein who has been proven to be one of the world’s leading fund raisers.

The strategy of the left is formulating. It's to paint Blagojevich as mentally unhinged. A nut. It's already being spun that anything that Blagojevich said on tape could be part of a fantasy world he had rather than reality.

So if something comes out against Obama it didn't really happen.

YEA! Lots and Lots of Bribe Money clearly works very well!
Interesting that Blago was shaking down the Construction Companys that were building Roads and Highways, Facilities and Buildings for the State?
Is that why ZERO HUSSEIN wants a Super Huge Roads and Highways Construction/Repair and School Construction on a MEGA Hundreds of Billions of DOLLARS Basis Nationally because the same programs on a Statewide Illinois basis was so productive from a Cash Basis????

I saw that! I was thinking how perfect that was. So where are these reporters now? Sowers was predicting the meeting and then her colleauge, Alexis Hunt comfirms it. So don't they either need to correct their story or need to cry out to the national media that the Obama camp is not telling the truth?
