Both diseases can be passed through a blood transfusion.

It was GodGunsGuts who claimed AIDS is not transferred through blood transfusions in his post #135.

It's true that there isn't yet an approved malaria vaccine, but that's only because more money was spent on AIDS research in the past week than on malaria research in the past 50 trillion years IMO.

The good news is that there's a malaria vaccine in clinical trials that seems to work.

The point is that when they eliminated HIV from the blood supply back in the mid-1980s, it didn’t even make a dent in the AIDS stats.

Because HIV infections from blood transfusions were always a very small percentage of the cause of AIDS. Male homosexual sex and needle-sharing have always accounted for the large majority of HIV/AIDS cases.

This is one of many reasons suggesting that HIV is not the cause of AIDS.

They claim they'll do so under an experiment sponsored by the NHS or CDC. Of course, they know that such an experiment would violate protocols on human experimentation and that no respectable medical agency would agree to be a part of any such stunt.

If they had the courage of their convictions, rather than just being a bunch of cowards who are only willing to give others lethal medical advice, they would step up and let themselves be infected with HIV, regardless of whether the NIH or CDC were involved.

Your numbers don’t add up but I get your point.

My point is that just because it is difficult to develop a vaccine does not give any information one way or the other regarding the cause of a disease.

There are people that are otherwise intellegent that have some strange ideas.

Just post about chlorine in water, Flouride, the world trade center, Nasa moon landing or even a hollow earth and you will find people that are 100% convinced despite any evidence provided the contrary.

I recognized your sentiments, but it’s counterproductive posting directly to GGG. Particularly when he calls the mods when I do.

My point is he can’t respond effectively to simple facts about the effects of HIV. All of his so-called science is 1994 or prior.

He can’t even read his own graphs correctly. Which is not surprising, considering he posts science findings thinking they support creationism and a 6000 year old earth.

More interesting is the drugs that target the HIV reproductive cycle, actually halt or slow the onset of AIDS.

That’s hard to explain if HIV doesn’t cause AIDS.

Multi-drug therapy wasn’t in widespread use prior to about 1997 or ‘98. It takes a while to evaluate the benefits and risks.

In 1994 it was reasonable to question the drugs.

I am not an HIV specialist but the evidence is compelling.

We spend billions of dollars a year treating asymptomatic type II diabetes. The evidence that it delays diabetes related complications is still not clear.

we have been treating hypertension for decades, the evidence that is decreases hypertension related complications is relatively recent.

We have only been treating HIV for 2 decades but the effect on HIV related complications has been overwhelming.

I don’t think GGG is interested in hearing medical evidence. He still clings to 1994.

Not long ago he heard from a Freeper MD who does specialize in AIDS treatment and who presented him with overwhelming evidence that treatment saves lives.

GGG blew him off. He repeatedly calls the mods in when I call attention to his potentially deadly medical advice. He’s tried to have me banned because I think he’s a dangerous kook.
