Every participant in those calls is a potential witness with a prison term hanging over his/her head. This may take years to play out, but we have only 40 days for Fitzgerald to indict and arrest the POTUS elect. From then on it will take the House and Senate to nail him.

This statement makes me unsure of Mr. "B" being Rahm....he could be considered a D.C.-based consultant but I think there are more accurate descriptions that might apply. How about Transition Team member "B" or President Elect Adviser "B". I definitely would not put it past Fitz to be vague in his description if it is Rahm because the conspiracy nut in me thinks Fitz busted Blago before the investigation got to close to the soon to be first black President. Fitz probably doesn't want to be the turd in the punch bowl at the inauguration balls.

They’ve already failed at coaching him on how to handle issues that require a bit more explanation than “saddened” and “no I didn’t”. Can’t wait for the press conference at 11 Eastern—it’s still on, isn’t it?
Good point about the tapes showing Obama made its wishes known to Blago.
If the same tape that is being used to show that Obama did not offer money (and there’s no evidence I see at this point that he or anyone on his team did), then it also must be evidence that Obama and/or his team spoke to Blago. Why did Obama say he never spoke to him? (I have another post on this thread about that issue.)
I think the likelihood of one person or another being “B” is directly proportionate to their level of silence at this moment in time.
Perhaps Blago realize he was being challenged at that point and he just didn’t like it. Reminds me of mafia wars.

Yes, you are correct. Just maybe there will be a decision from the Supreme Court tomorrow or Monday that would nail him before Fritzgerald does! Just hoping!
We’re at the very beginning of this scandal. I suppose no possibility can be totally discounted at this point.
