The sworn affidavit by FBI Agent Daniel Cain, starting at page 54, is posted at this site. It does not appear that the previous pages can be accessed, but you can click on the "Next" tabs to the right of the text.
Click on the tabs to get to the pertinent pages 62-66, paragraphs 101 - 103, to read the summaries of a crucial November 10, 2008 2-hour phone call between Blagojevich, his wife, his General Counsel John Harris, and "various Washington D.C.-based advisors," including "Advisor B." ("The Smoking Gun" states "Additionally, Rahm Emanuel, the incoming White House chief of staff, is referred to in the affidavit as "President-elect Advisor.")
I also found paragraph 102 to be particularly interesting. For those who don't have the time to access the link, a portion reads as follows:
"Later on November 10, 2008, Rod Blagojevich and Advisor A discussed the open Senate seat. Among other things, Rod Blagojevich raised the issue of whether the President-Elect could help get Rod Blagojevich's wife on "paid corporate boards right now." Advisor A responded that he "think(s) they could" and that a "President-Elect...can do almost anything he sets his mind to do."

At the end of Jesse Jackson Junior’s press conference, something struck me as odd. He wraps up by saying that his lawyer has given a press conference earlier and that he will not be taking questions. But then he says “I got an email from my little sister today” and rattles on, and then says again “that was from my little sister”. It struck me that he might have been sending someone a message like Clinton did when he wore the tie Monica had given him.
He does have at least two “little sisters”. Jaqueline Jackson, Jr. (Yes she IS a junior) by his mom, and the 9 year-old daughter of his father’s mistress. It occurred to my tinfoil self that Jesse Jackson Sr. was the person who offered the million dollar political donation. Maybe Jesse Sr. has another daughter out there.
Jesse Jackson Jr. was also co-chairman of the Obama Campaign and his OLDER sister, Santita, is godmother to Malia Obama. Who, if anyone, was he signalling.

The affidavit states that the governor wanted to establish a 501(c)(4) to carry out this whole “selling of Obama’s seat” deal. This should give people a clearer understanding of what 501(c)(4) groups are really about: graft, corruption and subverting the democratic process.

It sure is. In a week the number of individuals who 'misspoke' will reach a new record as well. Major CYA activity here. The entire democrat culture in this state is at risk, so they will say and do anything to dodge this and paste the entirety of it on Blagojevich.

So, what does "C4" stand for? According to dictionaries C4 is an explosive ~ better known as Plastique in some quarters ~ but generally agreed to mean something that blows up and maims or injures people, or destroys property.
And who is Obama's "Mad Bomber" friend?
Why, it's none other than William Ayers, and his gracious wife, the equally dangerous Bernadine Dohrn.
I hope that clarifies that conversation (even if it appears to get Warren Buffett off the hook).
They put up with it because he is dangerous in some way ~ only we don't yet know what that is.

Fitzgerald may or may not let us in on the story. Rather than focus on Powell and Armitage, who are the guys who ratted out the evil Valerie Plame, he switched the tale over to "Scooter" Libby whose only failing was to be Jewish and Conservative at the same time.
So what we have here is Fitz switching the story from the real focus ~ Obama and his friends ~ to Blago and his threats.
At least Fitz hopes he did that.
The truth is that THIS is what politics is all about. Politicians go into office planning a) how to get reelected and 2) how to squeeze the most money out of it while they're there and d) how to get and keep all the multi-millions in campaign donations.
The politico's dont WANT to subvert the democratic system, they HAVE subverted the democratic system. The individual doesnt count any longer, except for pulling the lever on e-day. After that the pol's vote how they want and make sure that they earn hundreds of millions so even if their not re-elected it don't matter. They'll just join the speaking tour and honoraria tour and book tour.
Just like the clintons. They started out 10 mil in the hole when they left office. Now they're worth about 100 mil?
