How can people defend McCain after everything we've seen so far? Then again, how can people be bi-polar and schizophrenic? :-) It's OVER. People should focus on more important matters, such as the nation sliding from recession into depression, and doing things that will actually make it easier to survive, rather than arguing the merits of leftists masquerading as Republican/Conservatives. Our nation is being, and will continue to be systematically disassembled, and the majority will stand and watch and weep and wonder who will stop it. Nobody will stop it and I'll tell you why. Those who could are going to group together in the interest of surviving what's coming. People should leave them alone and avoid them at (almost) all cost. They're in a deadly mood NOW and I personally consider them to be dangerous.

The rest simply have no intestinal fortitude. They're willing slaves and "whores" to the American way of debt and instant gratification. They're one or two paychecks away from financial disaster. They not only have this to worry about, but they'll wring their hands and worry about their 401k plans, affordable health insurance, and global warming. They shouldn't worry. :-) The coming administration will "share" their 401ks with the needy, affordable health care will never happen. Ask anybody associated with the phama-tech industry. It's very powerful and very profit focused. They're not going to let the government or anybody else interfere in a way that cuts profit! But that will be a moot point here soon when we have no stable currency in circulation. As for global warming, it's a form of "worship" and will bring even more judgment on the nation.

Sorry for the gloom and doom buddy. But from what I can see the shift to leftism with this current round of elections was just the start. As for people who want to keep espousing the merits of John McCain, let em rant. It could be the only form of escapism they really have from the terrible truth at the moment and for the foreseeable future.

I would not defend McCain/Palin, but I would prefer them over Obama. The fact that it came down to Obama/Biden versus McCain/Palin speaks volumes. As a nation, we are on the decline. If we don't put real Conservatives on the ticket in 2012, instead of people like McCain/Palin, and get real Conservatives running the GOP, we will be finished - the next few elections are crucial to our survival. At my age, I won't live to see a lot of the results, but they are easy to guess.
