It is still up to the people to vote for the change ... unless there’s fraud in the vote then all bets are off ....

Good, get it over with. Time to wipe away the last official artifact of a valid government. CWII.

We still would have the 3/4 of the state legislatures barrier.

Any new constitution would need to be ratified by the states before it could take effect.

Indeed ... whatever they do must first be ratified.

After seeing the states that lined up behind The One in the recent presidential election, the need for ratification is but a small comfort.

unless theres fraud in the vote then all bets are off . After this election and the fiasco in Minnesota I think we know what's in store for this country. Now, there doesn't seem to be any place to go to that isn't either fully Socialist or Communist.

Good, we can do away with that pesky Bill of Rights, recognize the President Can Do No Wrong, and revoke the ability of the Supreme Court to rule on the constitutionality of acts.

But it’s better when we consider that each state has equal impact, not like the electoral votes apportioned by population.

You know the Left will come up with a wish list. Its any one's guess what a new Constitution would look like.

Time for a new Revolution.
People need to stand up and fight.

I believe that that is what they are talking about. There are only 2 more state legislatures to ratify this.

The Constitutional Convention can only propose amendments to the Constitution. They COULD propose an “amendment” that repeals the entire Constitution and replaces it with a new Constitution, but that would still require approval by two-thirds of both houses and ratification by three-fourths of the state legislatures. That AIN’T GONNA HAPPEN.
I don´t understand what is driving this? I had no idea this was happening and I´m on FR all the time, and listen to Rush!

You know the Left will come up with a wish list. Its any one's guess what a new Constitution would look like. Only 13 states are needed to refuse to ratify a new Constitution. I can come up with nine that almost certainly would do so.
I think it would be an interesting exercise, if for no other reason than to flush out the closet fascists and socialists. Once their true goals were made clear, I think you'd see resistance harden against it, very quickly.
