In what can best be described as the night when all things awesome aligned, America's favorite fake anchor, Stephen Colbert, took a seat as the guest of honor at the 20th Annual Roast for Spina Bifida, where he was roasted by none other than President-Elect Barack Obama's Chief of Staff, Rahm Emanuel, who tossed off such gems as this:
"I'm scared of Stephen Colbert. I'm not alone. My colleagues in Congress, political operatives, the top minds in Washington, even some of the people in this room — we're all scared of Stephen Colbert. We're scared of Stephen Colbert in the same way Sarah Palin is scared of a geography bee." Colbert later responded, "Rahm Emanuel has given the finger to so many people in this town that he wore the tip off."

Colbert is more credible than any politician from the IlliObamavich Political Machine.
Probably not laughing, but I am sure he is planning his revenge. There is no city in the US with greater political corruption than Chicago. But the national spotlight has never been focused intensely on this city. It is now being focused there because the ONE will occupy the White House (or will we be forced in the name of political correctness to call it the Black House).
When you turn on the kitchen light in the middle of the night, the cockroaches run for cover. We will all be expert entomologists at the end of the ONE's first term, with PhDs in the behavior of cockroaches.

A lot of younger folks -- and I mean a lot of them -- have their political opinions shaped by those guys. And I suspect that a lot of media outlets use this demographic to shape their message to older folks as well.
