AUDITION--BLAGO pumps erectile dysfunction cures; flaccid Chi-Dems get samples in lieu of cash)
12/13/08

Posted on 12/13/2008 5:20:44 AM PST by Liz

ROLL AUDITION TAPE Blago will flack for cash. Soon-to-be ex-Gov. Rod Blagojevich is flacking himself as spokesman for erectile dysfunction products.

BEFORE LEVITRA

" As a three-time Chicago Congressman and two-time Chicago Governor
I can personally testify to the heartbreak of erectile dysfunction."

" I'll be honest with you, folks---at no time during my years in Chicago politics
have I ever seen a Chicago Democrat take a hitch on his crotch."

" That includes Cong Jesse ('Purity-personified') Jackson Jr,
and the Undefiled One.....the poor limp suckers"

AFTER LEVITRA

" If I get the Levitra gig, I will handout this great product at
the next Chicago Democratic convention........in lieu of cash."

TOPICS: Political Humor/Cartoons
KEYWORDS:
After Obama was elected, Blagojevich began discussing a quid pro quo----what he would accept in exchange for Senate appointment of Obamas's choice: such as a cabinet appointment, an ambassadorship or, perhaps, “something big” in the private sector.

“Something big” in the private sector for Gov Rod? -----with that "boyish personality" he's perfect for:

(1) Wal-Mart greeter

(2) Home Depot paint mixer

(3) McD's ketchup pumper

(4) waiter at Red Lobster

Uh, I grew up in an area of Chicago that is predominately Croatian and Serbian. They didn't use deodorant back then. I wonder if Blago does. Maybe he can sell "Axe" products for men.

An unidentified source attended a Oct 31 meeting sponsored by Oak Brook
"businessman" Raghuveer Nayak........w/ Blagojevich in attendance. The
source told the Chi/Trib that Nayak AND Blagojevich aide Rajinder
Bedi told attendees a $million to the Governor would ensure JJJ got Obama's Senate seat.

" I been in Congress 13 years. My 2007 earmarks totaled $231,000 just to June.
There's plenty more where that came from IF they make me Senator.
I also told them guys to dump all the unsold Obama DVD's and to start
pushing my poster."

"Pure as the driven snow.......no one in Chicago even comes close."

"Businessman" Raghuveer Nayak w/ ties to JJJ...... and Blagojevich aide Rajinder Bedi.......told attendees at an Oct. 31 meeting that they needed to raise a $million for Gov Rod to ensure JJJ gets the Senate seat.

You should all be ashamed of yourself for thinking this is (shudder) official bribery.

(Sniffle) The beauty part of this is that these individuals are so altruistic (sob) so pure and UNDEFILED, that they expect NOTHING in return.

Did you all not see JJJ tell the world that he, himself, is "purity personified?"

Quick, somebody gimme a kleenex........(bawl)....

Lamb with scallions sounds good---recipe available?

It's real easy. You roast a lamb and then take a bit of scallion when you take a bite of lamb. It's an awesome combination.

Now who can I find to make this?

Grandma's Soup Recipes

DUCK BLOOD SOUP

czarnina

Collect the blood of a freshly killed duck or goose and stir in 1/4 cup 6% vinegar. Seal and refrigerate until ready to use.

In pot combine duck or goose wings, neck, rump, heart, and gizzard with 8 cups cold water. Bring to boil, skimming off scum until no more forms, reduce heat and simmer 1 hr. Add several peppercorns, cloves, and allspice grains and 1/2 to 1 bay leaf plus the standard portion of soup greens and simmer another 1-1 1/2 hours or until meat easily comes away from bone.

Dice giblets, remove meat from bones, dice, and return to strained stock. The soup vegetables may be diced and returned to pot or used in another dish according to preference. Add about 2 cups dried fruit: prunes, apples, pears, raisins, and simmer another 15-20 minutes. Fork-blend 2-3 Tablespoons flour with blood & vinegar mixture, add about 1/2 cup stock 1 Tablespoon at a time, stirring constantly, then return to pot.

Season with salt, pepper, a pinch or 2 ground juniper berries (optional), sugar, and a bit more vinegar if needed to get a sweet, sour, winey flavor with subtly spicy undertones. Simmer gently several minutes and serve with egg noodles, noodle squares, grated-potato dumplings or cooked, diced potatoes.

I was up in Lake county. Growing up, we had a Serbian
family that had moved next door and from the first day,
we had formed a friendship that has lasted over 40 years.

I would go with them to the picnics at the Monastery, and
actually started to understand the Yugoslav language a little.

Living in Chicago and the surrounding areas, as you know,
sure allows a person to meet and get to know many ethnic
folks. Its something that we have that many don't have.

Might sound a little sappy, but I like to reminisce from time to time.

As a three-time Chicago Congressman and two-time Chicago Governor
Liz, that's a funny typo. The thing is its basically true.
Since that mutt was first elected in 2002 he hasn't spent one night in the Governor's Mansion in Springfield. Each day the legislature is in session, Gov. Blowdryavich FLIES back and forth from Chicago on the State Jet, and I mean every day. He also opened an official 'Governor's Office' in the Thompson Center (ugly state bldg) in Chicago and does 'work' (bribery apparenty) out of his near North Side home (mansion) for when the legislature isn't in session.

And its not like IL is flush with money, we are basically broke - thanks to our last corrupt Gov. Convicted Felon George Ryan, (RINO-Fed Prison). Yet the costs for the Jet rides, the new office and staff meant nothing to this puke Blago. So him conspiring to solicit and commit bribery is no shock.

That aside, back to your point -- "LEVITRA".

From listening to the tapes and reading the transcripts, it appears his potty-mouth wife Patti .... Already Takes It! It seems like she has a perpetual erection.

(After four hours she shudda called a Doctor.)

*** I grew up on 98th Manistee how about you? ***

HI Neighbor :-)
Sort of, South side at least. 42nd St and S. Western Blvd (Brighton Park)

Though back in '64 I did have a girlfriend from close to your area. She lived East of Stony Island Ave, off of 95th St. (can't recall exactly where now). She was Blond, a real beauty and a Serb.

We met at a Jones Commercial HS (all girls then) 'Cotillion Dance'. I was there 'stag' and she actually hit on me :-) But we lived too far apart and it didn't last long.

How far east. We were about four miles east of Stony.

BTW, I went to Mt. Carmel which is just off of 63rd and Stony. (Isn't it MLK Drive or Ave. now?)

I went back to visit on Turkey day. It was nice except my mom went in for triple bypass and is still in recovery.

I had to go to Skyway Dog House and have a Vienna beef sandwich with hot giardinera. I can still taste it. The food around Chicago is amazing. Here in CT, they have Italian and some Americanized version of Italian. And, the pizza absolutely suck in CT. Don't let people tell you otherwise.

How far East? Oh boy. From 95th & Stony her house was 'a few minute car drive', we we're 'almost there'. That's all I can recall now. btw, I'm looking at 98th & Manistee on Google Maps, it shows Manistee only about 1.5 miles east of Stony?!? (whatever, not important)

Oh yeah, I know Mt Carmel well (fairly well anyway). There was one year in the early 60's when Mt Carmel played in the City HS Prep Bowel in old Soldier Field. It was filled, over 100,000, We were rooting for Mt Carmel and they won. Most of my friends and I went, or would go, to Kelly HS (public) and we (Kelly HS) stunk so we always rooted for the Catholic school to win.

No, Stony is still Stony Island Ave. It was was South Parkway Blvd they changed to MLK Drive.

And sorry to hear about your mom, how all is and will go well.

And YES, the one thing the crooked pols can't screwup in Chi is the Food.

Don't know Skyway Dog House, we had (in the old days) a stand called 'Rabbits' on 43rd & California. Another place for great dogs back around '65 was a stand on Polk & Western Ave (baaaaaaad neighborhood). A dog w/ everything, which meant topped w/ fries, was $.25, a Double was a dime more (some new neighbors moved into our apartment bldg that used to live around there). Those poor guys had to go to Crane Tech, they had to move due to safety reasons.

(sorry for the tardy response my typing stinks and our Lab 'puppy' is bugging me for attention)

You should try it. It's really very tasty. If it's the blood that bothers you think about steaks, burgers and all other meats. They still have some blood in them.
