Sarah Palin's Holiday Open House Dec 13th 2008
Sarah Palin just loves working a crowd. Last Tuesday she opened the doors of the Alaska Governor's Mansion, hosting 3,300 supporters, gawkers and cookie fiends at the annual Christmas open house.
Palin shook hands and posed for photos, making sure to say a special hello to the children, a.k.a. the guests least likely to ask any awkward questions about pardoning turkeys or geography.
The open house has been a tradition for 93 years. Fortunately the house even comes with a "residence manager" so Palin didn't have to get down and dirty with the catering, decorating or cleaning.
Speaking of catering, there were over 20,000 cookies at the event, including: raspberry and pecan tartlets, Russian teacakes, and dark chocolate almond roca. No word on whether the Russian teacakes were baked in Alaska or over in the "neighboring" country.
Sounds like it was a delightful time for everyone who attended!

Like Cat Lincoln of wherever the hell - never heard of this dimwit - would be a fountain of knowledge about ANYTHING...geez, this really got to me to see it just constantly in our face - it is infuriating to me...they are going to try to "Dan Quail" this woman non-stop for the next four years...

Nope no more info. I don’t go on those liberal ADN sites, they are full of liberal morons. I hope and pray that this was not arson but I fear that it was. Anyone here from Alaska have any further info. I bet the turd that did it was not from Alaska
The Governor’s mansion here in Jefferson City MO was open during the town’s Holiday celebration, and I would bet 3-5,000 people toured the mansion, met Matt Blunt who posed for pictures with any and all, and listened to local HS choirs sign Christmas music.
I really don’t see what is so unusual about what Palin did...it occurs EVERY year here in MO.

I think Sarah’s Open House mentioned as she was part of the news, etc. recently as a VP candidate.
Why on earth would “Cat” expect Sarah to clean a house she doesn’t live in????
(No mention of Sarah’s saving the taxpayers some money there.)
