WASHINGTON (AP) — Republican Sen. John McCain says he's ready to work President-elect Barack Obama on economic and national security issues.

McCain, who lost the presidential election to Obama, says there will be some areas of disagreement. But he says the nation's problems are too big for political divisiveness. The Arizona senator says people want the government to unite and work together.

McCain is an ass.

McCain took the opportunity to tout even more law driven abusive reforms, including reforming the way markets work, Congress budgets, Defense Department plans, and so on.

Some old CR*P.

This is simply more fascism, which we know doesn't work and leads everyone to a bad end.

He's gotta' renounce that stuff; not peddle it.

Okay, seriously. McCain must be defeated in 2010...he’s a massive liability to the Republicans at this point.

Anyone who thought they disliked McCain before, just wait.

The guy is contemptible.

That might be correct, but: In his own words, McCain said, "My corpse is still warm."

This means he sees his endorsement as a drag for others.

McCain is an ass.
:::::::::
Understatement. She was the only thing STRONG AND GOOD about his campaign. HE ran a pathetic campaign, weak and slow, and he lost.

It is totally revealing of the symptoms of the trouble the Republican Party is in. It is a mess, and a big part is due to RINOS like McCain.

And of course this means amnesty. Now while thousands of Americans are losing jobs, they want to make the labor pool much bigger, so we fight for jobs with illegals. I'm sorry, but after a couple years of Obama, any potato picking job might be all we can get.....

There are no "tough" issues - there's just "tough" political consequences.

And if McCain takes those on, he helps the dems and hurts conservatives. What a jerk.

Failed presidential candidate John McCain, is exactly where he wants.

This seems to be what he ran for. This seems to have been his goal all along. It’s even clearer, with the abject weeniehood with which he’s interacting with Sarah Palin (who was the only reason his candidacy wasn’t among history’s worst electoral wipe-outs)

He’s now the deciding vote in his place, the Senate. He can move mountains and change the world, every time he votes against Republicans.

Bet he’s never been happier.

Hay John! Why don’t you and Powell hold hands and walk off into the sunset and get the hell out of the Republican party. We will play the theme song.

McCain needs to grow up. Senior citizens who act like rebellious teenagers embarrass themselves..
