Those whom he is able to reach believe him implicitly, and would follow him anywhere.

Please, don't take this wrong..every voice has a following. The left has theirs, and we have ours. So what? He can't get ENOUGH people behind him to effect any change and I believe that has to do with how he presents himself.

But if you like him, terrific. Go work for him...he's just not the guy to save the conservative wing of the Republican party...

I said that Keyes is not a leader. He is arrogant and egotistical and he turns people off. A leader cannot be like that.

Patently absurd. He does anything but turn people off. He wins every debate he participates in. He just is not allowed to participate beyond RINOLAND, just like any Conservative... Long gone before the red states get a say in anything.

Again, it’s not as if he hasn’t tried. He’s run for office...several times, and lost miserably.

Again: What Conservative has won? *None*. And no Conservative ever will win a Republican primary either. What you suggest is a fault in Keyes, you must then suppose is a fault in every Conservative, or admit that the process is stacked against them purposefully.

If Keyes, or any other Reaganite for that matter, but Keyes and Hunter particularly, are ever given national exposure, either one would win, and handily.

And you're STILL going to tell me we are a Conservative country, right?

I would like to see him be a senator. He would ruffle some feathers of liberals. When it come to public speaking he is far more talented than the messa.

Then you must be impressed with MccAin't, Huckabee, and Romney, whose following got them the votes, and thereby must be the voice of the Conservative right.. /sarc

The change is being effected, right before your eyes. A wholesale abandonment of the Republican Party (30% down in the roles), and an effort to raise a Conservative party in it's place. And who is at the forefront of the largest Conservative party movement? That would be Alan Keyes.

YEP! right down to the bones. That's why Conservatives win. It's just trying to get them into position to run that is the problem.

To suggest he is not charismatic or prepared is simply absurd. His speeches are all completely off the cuff- He never has notes of any kind- And he is renown as one of the finest orators in the world. No one holds a candle to him in debates of any kind.

Your #94 is excellent. I heard him speak in person a few years ago at a small church and I too was impressed with his oratory and also with his understanding of taxes, interest, commerce, economics, and the problems of working men and women. I joined his Declaration Foundation and supported it because he really understands and supports our Declaration of Independence. He is a passionate American Patriot.

The old trolls just keep trollin’ along. When you’re wrong on every issue you get more of a pass I think. FR life is a little dicier for newer one issue trolls. Usually.

The animosity of the Left is directed towards anyone who has the audacity to challenge the Word of Obama. O says that he was born in Hawaii, and his Obamatons have pounced on anyone who says otherwise.

I'm a part of Keye's lawsuit, but the Obamatons were after me well before then, ever since the day aster Obama's bogus COLB has posted, when I published "Was Obama's birth certificate 'manufactured?"

Well, you got under my skin. You’ve been here a couple of days and get away with your obvious trolling and provocation. My point by point response to you was removed and the word I get from JimRob is that it was due to Naughty Language. Since I only write things that look or sound similar to the real swear words, that is a hollow excuse for removal of a post. Just look around Free Republic and you’ll see much worse. In the past I’ve seen my posts removed because the content was disliked, and my opponent’s language was egregious but his/her posts survived. In effect, it is content-based moderation.

What it really signals is that 2 day old trolls hold more weight with mods than FReepers who’ve been here more than a decade. That is a sad commentary of the state of Free Republic and yes, that gets under my skin, TrollBoy. I will not say “Welcome to Free Republic” because no one did that when I first joined (we were all new) and you seem to have as much stature as a decade long FReeper so you don’t need such niceties.

I will be pinging the regular CertifiGate Ping List holders so that they know where we stand with the mods. This looks like the mods’ form of super-double-secret probation (like in Animal House) or whatever it is they call it. But in reality it’s just capriciousness, not some mod conspiracy theory.

The silly thing is that one of the admin mods zotted the troll named Searchin for keyword abuse on CertifiGate threads, and when I saw the abuse starting up again, whoever was on mod duty posted openly that they would allow it. So it basically depends upon which mod you have at the time. At least one mod is consistent and at least one mod is capricious. And a FReepmail to JimRob generates no justice.

Whatever the capriciousness of mods, the fact is that DMon is an 0bamatroll, short and simple. Anyone can check the handful of comments he made since signing up a few days ago. All 0bama talking points, nothin’ but.
