Don’t forget, she will need to be picked by a blind black Governor. SNL had better get the scripts together for this one. A blind black man picks a white woman w/ absolutely no experience other than being lucky enough to have a last name of Kennedy who unfortunately got his head blown off by a radical leftist w/ 3 bullets from a bolt action rifle from over 250 ft in less than 6 seconds.

I couldn’t get that many off with an M-14 in single shot mode.

Perhaps so, but I would hardly characterize the icepick lobotomy performed on her as “surgery”. More like a ghastly mutilation that completely incapacitated her for the rest of her life.

Kennedys:

Can’t Fly
Can’t Drive
Can’t Ski

Yet they think they know what’s best for us.

There are so many nasty things I’d like to say to anyone that thinks the Kennedy name is some kind of entitlement. I don’t take kindly to family dynasties.

The point of the mutilation was indeed to incapicate her, so that she wouldn’t embarass the family further.

It wasn’t a bug, it was a feature.

Caroline Kennedy endorsed and campaigned for Obama. She threw Hillary under the bus.

IMHO..Obama picked Hillary as his Secretary of State, but not before he bargained with Hillary to endorse Caroline as her replacement.

It's all in the art of the deal.

My understanding is that most of the time, the icepick lobotomy did not result in the subject being incapacitated, at least not in the sense of becoming a barely-responsive vegetable like Rosemary Kennedy. Usually it dulled the affect and changed the subject’s personality, but the subject could still function much like before, and often enough the net effect was perceived to be beneficial as a therapy.

Maybe because of her reduced mental capacity, Rosemary Kennedy’s brain couldn’t adapt around the damage to her frontal lobe. Whatever the case, we are fortunate that such techniques are now viewed as barbaric and are no longer used.

The mistake, such as it was, was one of degree rather than of kind. Surgical error, congenital abnormality or mere misadventure resulted in her being put down to complete incapacity when all that was desired was docile lethargy.

Nowadays, they would have just doped her with Ritalin until she was properly submissive and inert.

In this post-Blagojevich world, I would think we could put enough pressure on the blogs and so called news outlets to have them start asking the questions:

Experience? Less than Sarah and the Rats when berzerk over her...

Lineage - Does having the right last name qualify you to be a Senatwhore?

Oh, what? She's a DEmonRat AND a Kennedy???

Nevermind!

And, of course, libs will say she has all the experience/qualifications necessary to be in the Senate.

She worked so hard to be born for it.

“I couldn’t get that many off with an M-14 in single shot mode.”

Practice makes perfect. The National Match highpower course of fire was designed for bolt action and includes a 200 yard stage where you start from standing, and on command drop into sitting, and you have 60 seconds from command to fire ten shots, with a mandatory reload (which for a bolt means a stripper). There is a 300 yard rapid prone stage where you get a little more time, 70 seconds, with a reload.

Two seconds per shot with no reload from a rest is not that much of a stretch.
