What is a shame is that this act is one more thing that may push Sarah into not wanting to run for national office again. She is tough and a fighter, but I just don’t know if she’d want to put her family though this again.

I think hate crime laws are wrong. Attempted murder is attempted murder. Why should I care about the idiot’s motivation.
If they catch and convict this guy under the plain-vanilla arson and attempted murder statutes, that will be enough for me.
