Agreed. A crime is a crime. Calling it an act of hate makes the legislators feel like they’re doing something important I think. Is there such a thing as a non-hate crime? It’s absurd.

What is a shame is that this act is one more thing that may push Sarah into not wanting to run for national office again. She is tough and a fighter, but I just don’t know if she’d want to put her family though this again.

This is one more reason we need to support Governor Palin and her Pastor during this ordeal. She needs to know that she has friends out here, as well as enemies.
