Since arresting Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich, U.S. Attorney Patrick Fitzgerald has renewed interest in convicted fundraiser Tony Rezko's part in the purchase of Barack Obama's Chicago mansion, according to a former real estate analyst who says he was interviewed by the federal prosecutor in the past 10 days.
Kenneth J. Conner told WND he was interviewed by investigators from Fitzgerald's office regarding the purchase of the Obama mansion and the adjacent vacant lot that Rezko's wife, Rita, purchased simultaneously. As WND reported last week, Connor filed a civil complaint in October with the Illinois Circuit Court in Cook County alleging he was fired by Mutual Bank of Harvey, Ill., because he objected to land appraisals submitted on behalf of the Rezkos and the Obamas, with the complicity of the bank.

Fitzgerald better hurry. There isn’t much time left. What we need is a fog of scandal over Obama on Inauguration Day so that there is a taint of stain over him that the media will be forced to comment on, instead of their predicted waxing eloquent.
Why fire him when he can promote him instead? If Holder craters or a seat on SCOTUS opens up Fitz could go to the head of the line.
Wow! I did not think this was even remotely possible. Was under the impression that Fitzgerald was carrying water for Obama by ruling him safe re: Blago.
But this changes that picture. And the media may be forced now to report these facts after all. It’s going to make them sick to do it too.
You can see how they are physcially repulsed being compelled to even discuss Obama/Blago’s corrupt home base. They sound like a bunch of whiny children complaining they can’t have their way then looking for the content of the unknown corrupt variables.
Maybe Fitzgerald got angered by the Trib’s blowing out the story before he could complete the sting.

We can only pray and hope. However, I think the media and the Dems will circle the wagons and protect the lord most high Obama. It is a fast deadly bullet but Obama will dodge it with the help of his friends. Pray for America.

Fitz held up the investigation so as not to hurt Obama’s chances, and now is cooperating with Obama to quietly release Obama’s info during Christmas when no one is watching.
It MAY be a way to keep people from collaborating on their versions of the truth. Or Craig (Obama’s lawyer) is lying, OR it’s to hide it in Christmas week.

Because it will eliminate any excuse for providing false statements. If pressed to disclose right away, the perps could always say they didn't have enough time to check all their records.
Fitz could also have someone inside the Obama campaign reporting on attempts to obstruct justice and as more time that passes the more likely some will conspire to lie to Fitz.
Fitz already has enough info to indict lots of people and if he is taking a closer look at the Rezko-Obama real estate deal; he's looking for info to possibly indict Obama and Blog's wife. Rezko would not sell part of his lot to Obama and render his lot unbuidable without some plan to get paid off. There is also the recent discovery that Obama doesn't even own his own house. His former boss at his law firm is the owner. Think there isn't something sleazy about that deal.

If this thing goes anywhere, don’t look for a Saturday night massacre,look for the technique which Clinton perfected and that is:
‘Dumbing down’ his misdeeds. MSM will start reporting on the legal shadiness of myriad presidents and prime ministers, EVEN the great ones. Jefferson will have gotten a cozy deal from John Adams, FDR will have subverted the law because that’s what you have to do sometimes as a major political figure, blah, blah...
The deal was worth a LOT more than $125,000 “benefit” from the Rezkos to the Obamas — first the Obamas saved $300,000 off the asking price, for what was an absolutely prime historic home that probably would have gone for full asking price in the market of that time....
....indeed, Michelle Obama was able to angle in on the coveted home before it was even on the market b/c she was on the Chicago Landmarks Commission and learned about the proposed sale of the house via “insider” info (the Doctor who owned the historic home had to go through the Chicago Landmarks Commission if he wished to retain its historic designation while he split off the lot next to the home to try to bring in more cash).
So the Rezko/Obama deal went through before the public at large even had much of an opportunity to compete/offer for purchase of the home/lot because Michelle Obama had obtained early “insider” info about the impending sale of the home.
Does any sane and honest person believe that anyone but Tony Rezko would have sliced off a good portion of what was already a very limited lot to benefit the Obamas with easy purchase of their own private “garden” while Rezko paid for the luxury fencing?

Sounds like Mr. Conner needs a food taster and early morning car starter. .....also don’t take any flights in a single engine plane......and check the gear-box linkage before driving off so as not to suffer “sudden (and fatal) acceleration into telegraph pole.”
