Official: Emanuel fast-tracked immigrants to get votes
WorldNetDaily ^ | December 15, 2008

A former INS official who attended meetings with Rahm Emanuel when Emanuel was a White House aide says the hard-charging Democrat relaxed rules to naturalize even criminal immigrants and secure their votes for President Clinton ahead of the 1996 presidential election.

President-elect Barack Obama, who has chosen Emanuel to run White House operations as his chief of staff, has promised to sign legislation that loosens immigration and puts even illegal aliens on a fast track to citizenship.

Emanuel coordinated with Hispanic community organizers in Chicago to rubberstamp immigrants for citizenship, the INS official said in an exclusive interview with WND.

It turns out the long-time Chicago political operative was the behind-the-scenes catalyst for Citizenship USA, a project run out of then-Vice President Al Gore's office.

"Rahm was doing it under the guise of Al Gore's Reinventing Government program," said the official, who helped direct INS security policy. "He was definitely the point man and was past his neck in the scandal at INS."

Emanuel, now caught up in the corruption scandal involving Democrat Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich, refused to cooperate with an investigation into the citizenship project by the Justice Department Inspector General.

"He got every rule changed in the hiring of adjudicators so they could naturalize more Mexican nationals to vote for Bill Clinton , not to mention getting the rules changed to naturalize anyone," regardless of their criminal background, said the official, who's still employed by the federal government and requested anonymity to avoid reprisals.

"They had immigration ceremonies at stadiums with DNC (Democratic National Committee) staff registering them as voters right there," he added.

At one Chicago ceremony held inside Soldier Field, some 11,000 new citizens were sworn in.

The more illegals, the more votes for Democrats. That is why we might never take back the government. They know exactly what they are doing.

Citizenship for a vote. With the dems they always sell whatever they can for a vote. Soon they will actually try to sell their souls.

I just had to post on this one.

My wife and her sister were both in college in Chicago on student visas from Laos. They both applied for a license in 2003. The clerk asked them if they wanted to vote. They both ended up getting registered to vote in Chicago in time for the 2004 elections. They didn’t know any better; they were both young students from asia who didn’t know our voting laws. I have my wife’s voter registration card to this day in my wallet.

This was just Democrats acting as Democrats. No surprise there.

What is sad is the number of Republicans who are of like mind in the illegal immigration issue - McCain, Rove, Graham, Martinez. To them and the Democrats citizenship for illegals is a bribe for a vote.

We know what the Democrats stand for. The question is, where will the Republicans go on this issue in 2010/2012 - the McCain-Bush way. or the rule of law way?

We keep playing by the rules and they keep cheating. We keep losing elections because they keep cheating.

We need to come up with a different form of government. One that LIMITS Federal power and concentrates power in the states where mere mortals can actually be heard.

Democrats acting unethically and bending the rules. Typical. I’m angered but not surprised.
What I am angered about is Republicans who don’t seem to have a problem with our porous borders (John McCain) and refuse to acknowledge the massive problems it causes.

McCain and his RINO cohorts may not listen, but we can still be loud and clear.

You ain’t seen nothing yet. Wait till we have an open borders policy with automatic citizenship for aliens who want it. Republicans like Powell, Bush and McCain will be all for it.

Something must change. I think that we should get rid of the electoral college for one.

I look at this way. If two teams are playing basketball and one team has to play by the rules while the other can do anything they want including punching the other team in the face. Who is going to win?

I look at it this way: If one team holds basketball practice and wears different colored jerseys, why does everyone pretend they are two different teams? ;)

At best, the Republicans are the Washington Generals - part of the show, but the overall performance doesn't change even if they accidentally win once in a while.

More bad news (I think, since "Immigration Reform" seems to be a euphemism for amnesty). John Cornyn, who fought beside Jeff Sessions against last year's shamnesty, now says:
