The old Republican establishment appears to have lost its mind. I guess I’ll just start referring to myself as a conservative and drop all the Republican BS. My party left me. I’m not going to act like a DemocRAT and call myself a Republican. That’s just dumb.

I know this for a fact...Newt Gingrich is actually dead. I saw his obit. He died just about the same time that the Republicans lost control of the House. So these must be made-up’ stories. Really...his body is already cold and corrupted.
To: rabscuttle385
This is exactly what Rush was talking about. WASHINGTONIANS. Republicans want to be adored by the MSM and maintain standing in the D.C. cocktail circuit. They want press adulation.

It might be helpful for conservatives to print this thread out and look at it the next time Newt’s name comes up for a leadership position in ANYTHING. He is less trustworthy than John McCain, and after seeing the latter’s efforts during the election, that is no mean feat.

The old Republican establishment appears to have lost its mind. I guess Ill just start referring to myself as a conservative....Best chuckle I had today. You're right: Most political labels are pretty useless these days. Better just to say what you are for and what you are against. I'm thinking of getting my list laminated and passing it around at family gatherings and social events. It's the "speed dating" version of political small talk.

Maybe Newt has his own similar pay for play connections he doesn’t want exposed ... still remembering the sting of being so vocal against the Clintons to have his own affair revealed...

It would help if he kept up with the news. The feds
are taking a look at Obama's activity in this investigation.
He would like everyone to believe he's a conservative, but he's not. He's a RINO just like the rest of the CFR traitors in the GOP are. We can thank them for most of the American jobs that went overseas, and south of the border. I'm really glad he's out of politics. Let's hope he stays out!!

Me? I'm a disgrunted, disillusioned conservative. We are basically a one-party system now, with only fringe differences. Frankly, I'm not any more scared of Obama than I am of the republicans. They're all hell bent on destroying this country.
To: TonyStark
Republicans should be working to expose the differences between their ideas of free markets and limited government from the incoming President so as to sooner succeed in rescuing the nation.
