Unbelievable.

I agree whole heartedly! After Ramos and Campeon are released, then I might go along with a release of this guy. I got the impression that he wasn’t the smartest bulb in the box when he was caught and prosecuted—but what do I know?

Bush should set him free—after all, is he not convinced that Islam is a ROP?
And if that pronouncement was only a political ploy then I wonder how many more ploys he has up his sleeve.

In ancient times traitors were hanged, thank God we are over that barbaric tradition. Now our media can push for the release of a man who joined a hostile foreign military force, aren’t we progressive?

I believe El Presidente Jorge Bush should set him free..
But - the time and place of his release should be made public, so as to allow those interested in welcoming him back into society can arrange to be there.

I do not want to talk about freeing anyone before Ramos and Campeon are given a well-deserved pardon. Ramos and Campeon hurt a notorious lawbreaker while they were doing their duty.
Lindh clearly contributed to the death of at least one soldier fighting for our freedom.

I’m with you. I would even be willing to pay for a one-way ticket to Afghanistan. However, I would lull him into a sense of comfort on Singapore Airlines (very cute flight attendants). The flight attendants would let him sleep but would lash him to his seat while he’s sleeping and listening to his IPod. When he wakes a few minutes before entering Afghan skies, the flight attendants would push his business-class seat (might as well go in real style - I’ll pay for the seat, too) to the exit and push it out at 18,000 feet.

Exactly! When Bush is handing out pardons, Ramos and Compean should be at the top of the list!
It grieves my soul that these two honorable men will be spending another Christmas in prison, away from their beloved families.
Their conviction is a large stain on the Bush administration.
