Bring it on, Fitzmas!
Thank you Santa!
Go Blago!!
Fight and keep dragging it out!
Go, Rod, Go!!

Governor Rod Blagojevich of Illinois address questions about charges brought against him of conspiracy and bribery, including allegations he was seeking to benefit financially from his appointment of a successor to the U.S. Senate seat that was vacated by President-elect Barack Obama during a news conference in Chicago, December 19, 2008. They always say that they plan to fight to the end, then wind up resigning a day or two later. Still, I hope Blagojevich is the exception to the rule and tries and stick it out.
Good for him! I wonder what he knows. Hope he does not end up like Jimmy Hoffa.
Yea, maybe he'll wind up doubling Scooter's sentence when all is said and done.

Stand tall, Blago.
You go Blago!!!
Hehehehehe Lol! Yes stand tall Blago.
I was grinning from ear to ear when he said he would fight to his last breath. ;)
“I did not have sex with that woman—I never asked anyone to lie, not even once”—well done!

CHICAGO In an unwavering statement of innocence, Gov. Rod Blagojevich said Friday he will be vindicated of criminal corruption charges and has no intention of letting what he called a “political lynch mob” force him from his job. “I will fight. I will fight. I will fight until I take my last breath. I have done nothing wrong,” Blagojevich said in his first official public comments since his arrest last week on federal corruption charges.
Why? Do you really think Obama, as POTUS, can't clean this all up?
I was also grinning when he did his talk. This is the gift that keeps on giving.
If I was Blago I would not ride that State airplane to Springfield either. Airplanes can fall out of the sky with little or no warning and with little or no reason (other than that missile up the exhaust or the bomb in the crapper) as to why. Fight Rod, fight! Go Rod, go! At least until your plea bargain is done and then Sing Rod, sing!
I’m thinking the hairstyle will have to go though or the witness protection program isn’t going to be of much benefit to him for an extended period of time.
I agree with you, since I live near Chicago. The longer Rod fights, the better it will be for Illinois Republicans, in 2010.
He’s got a good point.
When he says he did not do anything wrong, he is actually correct.
He did it the way you are supposed to do things in Chicago.
He didn’t do it “wrong”. /s
lol.. He just got caught isall.
The history of Illinois and Chicagoan politics and corruption goes way back. It’s close to an artform.
Can’t help wondering what Fitz is thinking as he watches all this.
I hope he had to loosen his shirt collar, his veins were so pumped up.
That’s what I believe. Maybe with this scandal we can see a real two party system emerge. I am so tired of the combine.
Good job Governor. You fight the good fight because you did not get to where you are by being a quitter. You did not do anything different than that all of those around you in Illinois have been doing and continue to do but they don’t get charged with anything. For that reason, I think you would convince the public and trier of fact that you did not do anything wrong by talking about and establishing all of the things that were done by those around you in Illinois, including the new president of the United States. Good luck Governor...
Fight on, Blago! Maybe you can take that POS Fitzgerald down.
This dummy and his sycophants in the media are so dumb. We have become Nancy Graced as a nation. This guy even believes he can get off , because he thinks the evidence can be thrown out on a technicality. technically dummy they can throw you out cause they don’t like your hair. There are the same legal standards as a regular criminal trial when it comes to impeachment. No without a shadow of a doubt, not the same rules of evidence. he and the nation watches too many courtroom shows where because of the ferocity of someone’s defense means they are naturally not guilty. He’s gone, criminally he maybe to save his butt, on a technicality but as far as impeachment, he;s toast
Could be. Hopefully he will take a bunch of crooks down with him including Fitzgerald.
We can always HOPE! lol
Amrish Mahajan raise more than a half million dollars for Gov. Rod Blagojevichs campaigns since 2001...Mahajans ties to Blagojevich run deepincluding hiring the Democratic governors wife last year as a real estate agent on $5.7 million in private land deals
Nadhmi Auchi owns General Mediterranean Holding, a Luxemburg-based conglomerate with ... Mutual Bank, Anita and Amrish Mahajan,
Auchi provided the money for Rezko to buy Obama lot.
A former Illinois bank official, now claiming whistleblower status, says bank officials replaced a loan reappraisal that he prepared for a Chicago property that was purchased by the wife of now-convicted felon Tony Rezko, part of which was later sold to next-door neighbor Barack Obama.
The complaint said the Rezko loan was approved by Mutual Bank President and CEO Amrish Mahajan

Thanks! Good job!
FR stands for Forensic Research too, yaknow :-}
He needs to get Arlen Specter appointed to his legal team. Get Scottish law implemented as the standard of proof for his impeachment and he walks.
...and the more likely it rubs off on Obama.
This is priceless!!!
Bump—good stuff, including the link. There’s so much there, it reminds me of the researchers on FR who were trying to trace the Clinton tentacles in Arkansas back in the old days....More information than I’ve seen from any “investigative reporter” here in Crook County...
I’ve spent less than 24 hours collecting it with the help of a couple of freepers,
Think what Fitz must have with his staff, FBI, wiretaps and canaries.......
Merry FItzmas!
To be fair, many of the links on the thread are from investigative reporters. But some have suggested I send links to Drudge, Rush, Fox: Hannity, O’Reilly etc.
The real question to ask is why would anybody be willing to pay $1,000,000.00 for a 6 year position that pays $150,000.00/yr.? The answer is, because that special interests stuff their pockets with untold millions of dollars. Thus exposing how broke the system really is. Why are none of the news media both liberal and conservative not addressing this issue?

Thanks for the question ... One more reason to donate to FR
The Nazis excelled at PR .. the dems aren’t far behind.
Now, that would make quite the commemorative plate.
